Used to go here a few years ago and they botched my hair every. single. time. Im talking on the phone while cutting my hair so it came out uneven, an ombre that literally was just a line straight across, and it's almost like the hairdressers don't want to be there so they do whatever to finish working on your hair. Every little thing bothers them if you have a knot in your hair they will sigh and roll their eyes when they are trying to get it out. Do not go here!!!

I went in to see if I was able to get a last minute hair cut. the couple of other places I wanted to try were booked, family hair salon wasn't busy, there wasn't a customer in the place, it was only about 230pm, so I figured I'd give them a try. I talked to one of the stylists and she seemed nice. she was a little older, maybe in her 30's with a short pixie cute. I showed her pictures of what I wanted and told her I knew my hair was in bad shape but that I DID NOT want my hair cut too short. I explained exactly what I wanted and how I wanted it, and she said she understood. while she was cutting she angled my head down and shifted my hair away from the mirror, so I didn't actually see what she was doing. she explained to me what she was doing so I thought she had it under control. when she was done and finished I looked in the mirror and thought it looked fine from the first glance. I rushed over to pay and she was literally starring at the tip amount I wanted to leave on my card, I felt so uncomfortable with that. when I got into my car I looked and saw what she had done. she cut it so short it was barely touching my shoulders, it was uneven and she gave me such short layers. I have no idea what she thought she was doing. I'm very devastated and so upset. I will never go there again and I hope they either hire new people who know what they're doing, or just go out of business. this was the most horrible experience I've ever had and I do not wish this for anyone !!

The owner is lazy and rude. New hair stylists are god awful. The only good stylists either only does cuts for select clientele or are still off on maternity leave. They don't listen to customer wants and are defensive when you say you are unhappy.

BEWARE!!! I used to go to this salon when I needed a cheap haircut.  And every time, without fail, they didn't listen to what I wanted and messed up my haircut.  About two year ago I went to them for a perm...BIG mistake.  They cut my hair too short before the perm and didn't use enough of the perming chemicals.  I looked like a poodle with super short hair!  After this experience I vowed not to go back again...However, just the other day I decided to use the gift certificate they gave me (because they messed up the perm) to buy some hair products.  It had been two years and somehow I convinced myself to let one of the stylists cut my hair.  My request was simple...I wanted one inch cut off, with long layers, and feathered in the front.  The stylist literally took the scissors and cut a straight from one side to the other to get the one inch off.  Then, instead of angling the bangs to shape the front, she took two small strands of hair, cut them 4 inches shorter then the rest of the hair, and left it.  No fading, no angling, no feathering, NOTHING.  Then she chose 2 or 3 spots to randomly cut off a chunk of hair three inches above the rest.  This was not a haircut...IT WAS A HACK JOB!!!   When I got home I realized how bad it was and immediately called another hair salon to see if they could fix the damage.  I got an appointment immediately and the stylist could not believe what a bad job this woman had done!  He asked me how old she was, thinking she was brand new...I told him she was in her 40's and used to be the manager and he started cracking up, laughing and saying "Well I guess we know why she's not the manager anymore!"  

The moral of this story is DON'T GO TO THE FAMILY HAIR SALON!!!   They don;t listen to their customers and do whatever they want instead.  This has been my experience time and time again for years!  I think ive finally learned my lesson.

Went here one week ago, this was the worst haircut I have ever received. Bangs are chopped on one side and uneven, my hair is cut so short I can't get another cut to fix it for about two months. All I wanted was to have it trimmed and shaped. Will never go back.
