FAIRFAX STATION NAILS & SPA in Fairfax Station, VA

Shockingly, this was my very first visit to Fairfax Station nails - and it won't be my last! The salon is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean and the technicians were very nice I was able to book my appointment online and received text messages confirming my appointment. The prices were excellent. I enjoyed a Sports Pedi and a regular Mani, and the quality of both services was fantastic. This hidden in plain sight gem has not o my earned my business - I called my Mom and sisters on the way home to tell them all about it!

OG does the best nails! I look forward to giving him a new challenge every other week. His artistry and creativity is A++!

I came here to get a french tip manicure with the dip in powder. The lady who did my nails was super sweet and kind, but the nails were not so great. I showed her a reference picture and she agreed that she could do it. I asked for almond shape french tip and she didn't do a great job. The nail lengths for both hands were completely uneven. My thumb was way longer than my right and I had let her know and she had done a little cut of the length but didn't fully fix it. I didn't really notice it until later and wasn't too happy. When she was shaping the nail, it was obvious that the shaping wasn't good. The sides were crooked and it looked like the nail was leaning. I thought the shape looked fine until I looked at it closely and the uneven and crookedness was noticeable. The sides were also not straight and were going outward. She had kept filing the sides throughout the appointment in an attempt to make it look better, but in the end it didn't come out how I expected at all. For the rest of the time she did a good job on the pink part under the french tip and there wasn't any mistakes I had noticed. When it came to painting the french tips I expected a bit more especially for the price I paid. The lines weren't curved like I asked for and it was uneven -- again. Now I understand that hand drawing the liens can be difficult but this time shouldn't be an exception. I was disappointed in the end. She messed up one of my nails a couple times and redid it and it still came out ugly. I wouldn't recommend coming here for dipping powder as the other nails on their website looks good.

First off I am new to the area and was hesitant about finding a new place to get my nails done . After doing my research I decided to give them a try. This establishment was very clean and quiet . All of the staff seemed friendly. My tech Tina was very sweet and patient. She did amazing prep work before the polish; I feel like I have new feet ! Lol my only complaint is that I feel like they are a bit pricey for gel( $20 ) on top of whichever pedi style you would like that ranges from ($35-$60) . I received a gel pedi with French tips ($5 extra) and just felt like it was a little thick. Other than that, I would return.

This place was good when it opened but the last several times have been awful. The nail polishes are very old and half my nails are chipped the next day. I'm not sure if the tools they used were clean but my nail tech cut my foot and it got infected.
