Fabulique Nail Salon in Springfield, MO

I have gotten a few pedicures and gel nails at Fabulique and have always been satisfied. I went today for a pedicure and to have my old set of gel nails removed and done again. The lady first put foil on all my fingers and some thin plastic gloves. She then told me to go take my shoes and socks off and put my feet in the water. I felt like I was on a game show trying to get my shoes & socks off with all that foil on and not letting the acetone drip all over me and my black pants. I don't know where she went, but she materialized as soon as I finished with my struggle. She cut my toe nails, and never filed them down. She used something to file the top of my toe nails and never wiped them off before she painted them and they ended up grainy. She then did the same thing to my fingernails, they are all rough on the ends and the thinnest set I have ever had. I ended up with gel that was stuck between my nail and my cuticles and I ask if I could scrub them with a brush or something. She came back, put her hair back up and her mask back on and used the cutter to cut it off my cuticle, cutting them down even further. She cut my ring finger cuticle and said "at least it's not bleeding" and I needed up with blood all over my steering wheel and purse. I won't go back. It was very disappointing. She was pleasant, just seemed like she was in a very big hurry to finish. As soon as she did finish with me she disappeared into a back room....I maybe interpreted her lunch or something?

This was my first time here--and my best pedicure in years. The place is bright and clean. The tech was efficient. The deep massage left my legs and feet relaxed. Hot rocks and heated towels were delightful. My nails were expertly shaped and polished. I will be back.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AT FABULIQUE. I asked for french tip nails done with dip, and the nail tech Amy said she wasn't comfortable doing dip and wanted to do gel. Trusting her judgment, I agreed and let her do the white with gel as she requested thinking she would do her best work. I left with absolutely HORRIFIC nails that were bumpy, uneven, and SLOPPY. She threw my hands around the entire time and was not gentle either. I also have gel nail polish stuck on my skin from her burning it on with UV light. Extremely disappointed as this is not my first bad experience with her-- I have had enough of it.

I am so pleased with my nails! This was only my second time here and I will definitely be back. My first experience with Julie was fantastic! My dip manicure didn't even chip until my nails had grown out so I made sure to come back a second time. My pedicure with Khoa was one of the best I've ever had. His precision to detail was outstanding on both my manicure and pedicure. He executed my request for patriotic nails perfectly. Tiffany added a wonderful festive design to my nails as well. 5 stars!

I love this salon. It is clean and absolutely beautiful. I normally don't write reviews either. A few days ago; had my nails and toes done.  (dip nails/toe polish change). I requested pink and white French, or pink and white ombre'. NO ONE has ever had an issue doing this, and having it look pretty. On my right hand I have two finger nails that have a lot of white (due to a health condition); other than this, my nails are strong and long. My nail tech said "can't do french or ombre' because it will show through". Well; ok..now I have white painted toes with a nail polish color that is a glittering orange, and doesn't match. In addition; prior to the latest visit, my usual nail tech thought it was okay to make comments about me to another nail tech in Vietnamese. NOT OKAY! ! AND....YOUR NEWER FEMALE RECEPTIONIST; answers the phone with no enthusiasm and has zero tact. She is like the walking dead in person. Find someone who enjoys this type of work. I doubt I will return..sadly. Now; I have to pay again at a different salon to get my pink n white ombre'. Also, $25.00 for toe polish shellac is too much.
