I believe this place is racist, I was here in December 2021 and for 30 days I tried to get a manicure and pedicure but they would not service me! The door says walk-ins welcome but they said I needed an appointment. So I said let's make an appointment now and they said call tomorrow. At that time it was only 2 customers and 5 workers. Now on April 8 2022 at 4pm the shop was completely empty, I asked for a manicure and pedicure, they said they normally close at 6pm but they are closing early! They to me to call again on the 9th, 2022 so I did but they said they don't have any available openings. I'm sitting in the Parking lot and there are only 2 cars in front of the shop smh! This is bad for business and I'm a good tipper!
I was in Springfield for a few days and in dire need of getting my nails done, I hesitated to go here due to the ratings, but gave it a go when another place was too busy. I was pleasantly surprised. It's in a seriously crappy strip mail that's not easy to see and there was only one other customer there. However, they were friendly and ok w/ my dip nails and gel toes. The place is bare bones, but my tech was clearly experienced and rocked it. I'm very happy with how my nails and toes turned out and would definitely return.
My friend treated me to a gel manicure and pedicure. I loved this place, the staff was friendly, the prices were good, and I highly enjoyed the experience. I was worried about my nails looking good because they are so short (new mom and I keep picking at them), and I didn't know my friend was going to take me or I'd have grown them out a bit, but the lady did great with what she had to work with! I'll be back when it's time for a new color!
Every time I come to Springfield Missouri where corporate headquarters is located I make sure to stop in and get my fill and pedicure at City Nails. No matter who does them I have not ever been disappointed. The price point is always reasonable especially since I have long all natural nails. I am still not disappointed with the color change that I decided to have done versus what I normally get done fill and pedicure, at the last minute after she cleaned up my nails and was about to polish I decided I wanted a fill after all she didn't complain or say it's too late she just did my fill. I am going to continue to come to City Nails whenever I am in Springfield and need my nails done.
I go here every time I'm in town, not hip to the new nail shapes and designs . Yet is an okay place to go.
