I came in last minute for a pedicure and the nail tech, D, did an amazing job. She was kind and accommodating from the time I entered the salon. The pedicure was $55 for gel (which I got) and $35 for regular.
I have pretty coarse feet so I look for a nail tech who takes their with removing the dead skin and applies the moisture back. I left with my feet ready for the summer, after they had been "hibernating" all winter, and they were nice and soft. I enjoyed my service! I o only took away a star because it's a bit pricey $$
NEVER GO TO THIS NAIL SALON! They pick and choose when they want to open and close. They charge some customers more then others if you look like you have money. They only have two people working so even if you book an appointment, chances are you won't be seen on time !! Sooo unprofessional . And the place is never clean. I would go to the nail shop by Walgreens up the street before I ever spend another dime there !!
NEVER GO TO EXCELLENT NAILS if u don't want communicable diseases. They are not a sanitary place!
The place was difficult to get into, due to construction. Also they only had one other customer.
The lady that began to change my polish was nice enough, I asked to to have the acrylic thinned on my nails. So during that process, with a Dremmel tool, she cut my cuticle. She said sorry and then kept going. Once done with the tool just put it in a box. Didn't clean the tool she cut me with and then used an old buffer that wasn't sanitary either. The final straw was using cuticle oil that is most assuredly contaminated now with my blood on all of my fingers and put it back in the pot. I went and washed my hands and told her that I wasn't ok with her cutting me as well as not sanitizing anything she just used.
So I walked out and will never return.
I work at a nearby hotel that I will tell our guests NEVER GO TO EXCELLENT NAILS.
They do a great job on my feet. My feet look like brand new when I leave! The pricing is very reasonable, it's only $22 for a pedi and she will usually paint some nail art on a toe or two for free. Walk ins are welcome all week and appointment only on Sunday.
