Got my hair done in box braids for a wedding I was going to be in the following Saturday and I had a coworker who recommended this place to me. Ladies who work there are really nice and professional. They were always asking me if I wanted any water or if I was ok in general. This is one of the shops where you can just show up and don't have to bring your own packs of hair. I had like three girls working on me most of the time so I was in the chair by 4pm and done a little bit after 7pm which really impressed me. I would definitely say this place is a bit pricey because I've gotten my hair done before and maybe paid around 170 while this place charged me around 250. I love the final product and if this style holds for a good while it might actually be worth the 250. This shop definitely makes it on my list of places to go to get my hair braided although I'll probably do some research to see if there are any cheaper places.
I needed a last minute hair do, this place did the job and more. They were warm, quick and the style exceeded my expectations. I'm defiantly returning. They earned a customer.
I heard this was a good salon, so when my sister who is African was looking for an African braiding place I called here and made her an appointment. When I went to pic her up they were speaking in French...little did they know we also speak French. They were making racist comments towards me, bc I am white. They kept calling me "the white". It was a horrible experience. Very unprofessional! Also saying nasty things about here hair in French! Don't assume that people don't speak other launguages! Although they did a great job on her hair, it looked great, not sure if she will be going there again.
