Mary's Nails in Verona, PA

My daughter made an appointment last week for today. When she got there Mary said she couldn't take her. If she made an appointment there should be no problem. Tiffany must be on maternity leave but Mary is not an acceptable replacement. And this is no way to treat a long-term customer. I too frequent this business and we will be going some place else. Mary should not be left in charge and shame on you for letting her!!!

I came in the door wrote my name down and another lady who was not a POC also did the same thing. The owner looked at me and then her and asked her how she could help her. I said ok maybe she was a regular but nope. I said maybe she had an appointment, nope. I said ooh ok I see...I will take my business elsewhere! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!

I used to come here all the time with the original owner. New owner is not as friendly or nice. I went in for an AMERICAN MANICURE and the girl who was actually doing the polishing portion was ARGUING with the other tech because SHE didnt feel that an American Manicure was going to show up well or whatever. She starts giving me a FRENCH MANICURE and then tells me she will apply a technique so it appears more American and less French. She does an French manicure and puts an overlay of reflective color I never asked for. When I went to pay, they told me it was an extra $10 for the FRENCH MANICURE (which again I never asked for and didnt want) and an additional $15 for the overlay. I explained what happened and she addressed the girl who did the polish and then still made me pay full price. I never returned. YOU WILL CLOSE in the next 5 years with this attitude. Start reading through your reviews and applying suggestions. irritated I even went there.. only to be bamboozled DO NOT GO HERE

I gave them another chance after they messed up my daughters eyebrows a year ago. The younger stocky male Vietnamese technician was extremely rude to my minor daughter. He made her extremely uncomfortable when she said hello to him and he said " what do you want done," in an aggressive tone. In this country we say HELLO. My daughter called me immediately because she felt threatened. Dude why would you do this to a minor female. I came to see what the problem was and he engaged in a back and forth about whether or not he saw me as a customer previously when I tried to tell my daughter that he serviced me before. I know we all look a like to them but I tried reassurring him that I recognized him as the only male of 2 in the shop, as he continued to argue that I was never his customer. It really wasn't that serious. We walked out not to ever return again. Next time go home if you are not feeling your best, instead of chasing customers away. There's plenty of Vietnamese owned shops in Piitsburgh.​

I usually never get my nails done, but I wanted to...one time for the one time, right? I got stilettos and I had also went with my mom which was nice. I highly recommend coming here. I hadn't gotten the lady that had done my nails name but she was super nice and gentle. I'm not a very social person and it was nice to just listen to the calming music and relax you know? 10/10 for a first timer!!
