I found this salon via social media. I have been search for someone who handles asian thick hair well with layering. Olivia, my stylist, was superb and professional. Her assistant who handles the other part with washing and facilitating was very pleasant too. This salon runs very efficiently and super busy. I am definitely returning.
* this review is purely based on my interaction with the receptionist. the woman at the front at 2:30pm on friday march 15 had a terrible attitude. i heard great reviews about this place so i wanted to go in while i was stopping by the market in the same plaza. i went inside and asked her how much a haircut for women's would be. she said in a rude tone "80,90,100, depending on the stylist." i said "oh ok! what time's your latest appointment?" she then replied "6pm for haircut." while glaring at me without a smile and with the same rude tone. i just said "thank you" and walked out because my thoughts of wanting to get a haircut at this place disappeared based off the receptionist's attitude/service. i don't expect the friendliest service anywhere i go, but i still think providing decent service is the least the front staff should be able to provide, because they are the people who give the first impression to possible clients.
Zion Lee was a fantastic stylist who helped me achieve the haircut I was looking for but didn't know how to describe. She used the picture I brought and recreated the look I was envisioning. She was professional, personable, and detail-oriented. She even gave me advice for hairspray and sent me the link via text after my appointment. I highly recommend her services!
