Estilo Hair & Brow Salon in Salt Lake City, UT

I would not recommend this salon for African Americans . I went in 9/7, to get my eyebrows waxed . I can tell she hadn't done AA before . She put brow powder on and just waxed the brow powder off . The next day as i washed my face , i could tell she NEVER waxed the unwanted hairs off .. I've gotten my brows done before many times in my life and I've never had anyone wax off brow powder , i tried to tell her i like my brows a certain way .. but she kept insisting on what she wanted .. i became upset and wanted to leave , but without paying $40.. I've NEVER in my life , paid that much for EVER getting my "brows" waxed .

My visit to Estilo was amazing. I have worn hair extensions on and off for about 20 years. I live in a rural community almost 4 hours from Salt Lake City and there is really no one here that specializes in keratin bonded hair extensions. I have extremely fine hair which makes any other type of extension slip and damage my hair. Tired of the damage my hair was getting I started calling salons and hair extension companies trying to locate someone who was experienced. Juan came with rave reviews so I called. He went out of his way to fit me in since I had to make an 8 hour drive (there and back) to see him. From the moment I walked in Rina was so welcoming and treated me as if I were a life long friend. Juan said I could do my extensions in 4- 5 hours but I have never seen anyone that efficient so I planned to stay the night in Salt Lake. Juan did my color and extensions in about 5 hours. I was impressed! It looked absolutely amazing! It's been years since I have been this happy with my extensions. Even when I don't curl/straighten my hair it looks beautiful due to the natural wave in the hair and the color is the most perfect red! My hair never really grows because of how fine it is so not very long.I've always had to keep my extension pretty short.... about collar bone length because if they aren't installed perfectly the weight of anything longer pulls causing slippage and no one can seem to blend them well due to the length. If I try to go longer and they aren't blended enough they don't look natural. Juan, being the miracle worker that he is, blended my hair perfectly and the length is to the center of my back. It's been at least 6 years since I have had someone install my hair and blend it in a way that allowed it to be longer. My hair is beautiful and I get compliments every time I leave the house.

I highly recommend Juan. I would drive longer than 8 hours if I had to, he's that good. Just make the appointment, you won't be disappointed!

The only place I trust to get my hair done! They'll also take good care of you when you need the perfect "do" for any event, or just to have good looking hair for the weekend! Love this spot!

Juan is absolutely amazing!  He took the time to understand exactly what my hair needed. He doesn't just cut and color hair, he is an artist who takes pride in each and every detail! LOVE!!!!

Juan has been doing my hair for over a year now and I feel so good about the job he is doing.  I fell younger and sexier than ever.  His cuts are amazing and his colors are unbelievable.   Everyone I see tells me I look ten years younger! Who doesn't LOVE bearing that!
