Very unprofessional had my wife sitting for an hour and never showed then when we called Erica she said she was pulling up 20 min later she said she's stuck at kinkos.said she'll do it in the a.m never called or answered her phone. IF your a traveling nurse and need someone out of town to do your hair don't call them!!!
I went here with high hopes to get knotless box braids by Érica. Although she was kind and respectful during the service, she rescheduled last minute and the outcome left much to be desired. The length of the braids was uneven and the ends were thin without a good amount of hair added. I've been getting braids for a while and was really disappointed with the service. When I requested a refund the next day over text, my message was ignored.
Erica was awesome and was able to take me in with no appointment and on a holiday. She did a wash, blow dry, and press as it was the day after I took my braids out and was so well needed. I will definitely be back.
Also me and my daughter both have gotten our hair braided by Edwina several times who is great at what she does as well. I would definitely recommend, check them ladies out.
Took my niece here for her first braid extensions and it was such a great experience. Highly recommend Cynthia. Her work is fantastic and she was wonderful with my niece!
She tried it!!!! I was unfortunately a victim of a hair massacre by an unprofessional and unskilled stylist Erica at Essence Hair Design. When I tried to get her to fix it the next day she got ghetto and wanted to point out how she's been doing hair for over 30 years. This is what 30 years of "professionalism" in the hair service gets you from Erica. She does not know what she is doing in regards to weave installations so save your time and money!
