Ernesto truly knows hair. He's been at the game for 30 years, and with a single look at a photo and an idea, he went to work on my puffy hair with my strange hairline (and really knows how to do excellent layering) He did an excellent job, and at 20 dollars, it feels like he is greatly undervaluing his own experience and work. But if that is what he wants to charge, I won't complain!
I have been a customer of Ernesto for 9 years, went to so much places and I have never been so happy with the results, I strongly recommend this place, I wish I can give them more than 5 stars.
Recently moved to SF to start my graduate program and after paying a load of money for a men's cut at a fancy barber shop, I asked around and was told to check out the locations on 16th and mission. Ernesto's was the first place I saw and after a quick google search the place seemed decent. Walked in and was greeted by Ernesto himself. Had a nice conversation with him and he gave me a perfect cut for less than half of what I paid for my first cut in SF. Highly recommend him!
I live down the street from Ernesto's Salon & this is the only Salon I go to in the city, Everyone is so nice & friendly & I always come here for my trim or if I want to go crazy to cut my hair. I come here at least once a month or so to get Trims & cuts Ernesto knows what would look really good on you!!
