Update on my review after the business owner replied to my original review I received the services listed under the "Classic" pedicure description, but got charged for the "Signature" pedicure. No collagen socks were part of the service. I added gel french tip, $20. That's a $55 pedicure. Pricing is directly from your website. It was a quality pedicure, but the inconsistent pricing and reply was unprofessional and disappointing.

worst manicure ever, terrible quality , was gone in 3 days (no i was not doing anything that could cause damage) . also infection in my finger. i had shoe broken same day... person who did it was laughing at my shoe .. of course with her colleagues ! i left her very generous tip but don't think she understood that it was about ethics and morals. next time will choose any other nail salon in the neighborhood

I visited Muse SF for the first time today and it was a pleasant experience. The staff was friendly and I got to meet the owner (Lynn) who was very kind. I got a deluxe pedicure, which was nice, but costly ($62). There are two (2) options, regular ($35) and deluxe ($62). Though I decided to treat myself today, I don't normally get pedicures so Im not sure if that price is common or not. This is definitely a great place to visit with a friendly staff that does good work. Check them out!

I was hesitant to post this review because everyone was very friendly and accommodating and they were able to take me without an appointment for gel removal and a gel manicure. I'm a bit disappointed with my nails - it seemed like she spent a lot of time on my cuticles etc but looking at them now, 6 or so hours later, they look sloppy. I picked a pretty transparent color (my hands get a lot of abuse so I do gel for the longevity and to keep my natural nails from breaking) but I at least expected two coats? She did one, and asked me to look and I said they looked good so I guess she thought that meant I didn't want another coat? I thought she was just confirming that I was ok with the color. I've never had a gel manicure where they just did one coat (plus base + top). The whole polish application process felt really rushed. She also didn't fully get the previous gel off, even after filing pretty hard on it, which you can see under this polish. At other places they've taken out the electronic tool to do that so the nail doesn't take so much abuse from the file when they try to get it off. And my pet peeve is when they don't clean under your nails after they file, especially with a semi transparent color. A good spot to go in a pinch but won't be my regular place. edited - went back today after they reached out offering to redo, and they look great! thank you! night and day difference honestly. added a star for the finished product!

This is THE PLACE for Gel-X nails - or any gel mani/pedicure! Unparalleled quality of nails and nail art (IMO), great bang for your buck, and the best gel color selection I've found in SF. Super prompt if I need to update the appointment time or date, easy to slot into my schedule, and always ready when you come for your nails. Despite moving towards Oracle Park, I continue to make the (40 min) trek to go here!
