ENCHANTED NAILS in Lafayette, LA

Extremely overpriced! My sweet friend felt swindled by this man charging her so much. She admits she liked the nails but the price is unreasonable. Not once did he tell her that her nails would cost over $100. No salon in Lafayette would ever charge this much for a short set with NO extensions added. I am a nail tech and many of my friends and family do nails as well and no one could believe that she paid this much for these nails. She didn't want to make a scene at the salon because he had other clients there so she personally messaged him and he claims he had to do extra design that is double the work but it only took him 45 minutes to do her nails. The most these nails are worth is $75 and that's my opinion as a nail tech in Houston where our full sets start off at $45. This isn't the case for the Lafayette area. He's greedy and only cares about money which is why he only had one other person in the salon on a Friday afternoon.

I usually go to this salon to get a fill every two weeks, because I love the service the two younger guys give! today I decided I needed a little self care to help put me in a better mood so my sister in law and I decided to come get a pedicure. The older guy doing my pedicure did not speak or understand English at all, and it seemed like he had no idea what he was doing like this was the first time he's ever done a pedicure. My water, along with the towels and the stones that were supposed to be hot were all cold. My sister in law got the longest pedicure they had AND she was also getting acrylics put on and my (supposed to be quick) pedicure alone took as long as her pedicure AND manicure done together.
Needless to say, I am upset, disappointed, and my day was already bad enough and I didn't think it was going to get worse, but it did. I will not be back for another pedicure. If I could give 0 stars, I would. The only thing keeping this salon running is the two younger guys that usually do manicures. Good job you two! I WILL be back to see you two soon and to get a full, definitely not a pedicure.

I'd have to personally say you get what you pay for. The nail technicians personalities were amazing but some of their work could be a lot better. I got a full set and not even a week later three of my nails broke. Doing simple task for example opening a box of cologne or putting my slide on vans. I went back to let them fix it. Of course they charged for it. $17 to fix three broken nails and didn't even properly shape them. I've had better work done definitely. My personal experience was okay, could have been better. You get what you pay for. I'd rather spend $25+ for a full set at hobby nails off of Gloria Switch than have a half a** set that was rushed.

Check in on my fix on the three nails that I broke. Another one broke after I just got it fixed. I got it fixed two days ago. I broke it picking up my charger off the ground. The quality of these products that are used are obviously not Hugh quality. Sorry to say it but I will not continue to spend money on nails that will continuously break.

Worst pedicure I've ever paid for. I still had visible dead skin on my feet after it was done. I also don't appreciate that they only speak to each other in Vietnamese.
