Elita is great! This was my first time in over a year going to a stylist. She shampooed my hair and gave me a steam moisture treatment. She explained everything she was doing. She then gave me a fantastic trim and silk press. This is what my hair looked like the day after. I highly recommend you go to Elita for your natural hair needs.

I don't write many reviews however I felt strongly compelled to submit some extremely positive feedback and vibes regarding the service that I received from Elita. Firstly, I was already nervous because I was coming in to get my hair done for my wedding and I was coming to Elita for the very first time based on reviews only but not personal experience. Secondly, I was also coming off of a previously negative and rude experience I had with another Hairstylist who also had some good reviews and purported to be good with natural hairstyles. So setting the stage, suffice to say I was nervous. But it was my wedding and I very much wanted to get my hair done. And upon first entering the shop I was greeted by Elita and she asked me to sit down with her off to the side so she could discuss what I wanted and what I was expecting. She was very kind and provided thoughtful suggestions without seeming to talk down to me or try to dictate what she thought I should be doing in opposition to what I would like. But I also asked her honest opinion as a professional and trusted her judgment. She was gentle and sweet and was a very warm conversationalist and made me feel very comfortable. The hairstyling and cut were all efficient but still very thorough so I wasn't there for six hours which is something I was also slightly dreading the thought of. At the end Elita recommended that I put Rod curlers in my hair and keep them in there until I was ready to take them down for the ceremony which was a day and a half away! Suffice to say I had to put considerable trust in what she had done with my hair too and hope that it would last for a day and a half. It was November so I was pretty sure I wouldn't be sweating too much but you just never know. I will say that when I took my hair down and not only was I but my mom and cousins and best friends were also extremely surprised and happy to see my hair. I looked like Dihanne Carole in Dynasty, I couldn't believe it! To say I was pleased is such an understatement. Elita was a kind, professional, generous and an all-around superstar at her skill and craft at doing my slightly damaged hair. Please run don't walk to this wonderful professional.

I visited Elite Conceptions today for the first time and I am so happy that I found them. I was very impressed that I could make an appointment and was even more impressed when I the time was kept. Elita was my stylist and she answered all of my questions and helped me choose a style that was exactly what I was looking for. The atmosphere was very inviting and cozy. I am typically a shy person, but I felt welcomed. Elita explained what she was doing as she went along and the final product was to die for. Thank you so much Elita!! I will be returning and telling all of my friends about the salon.
