Elan Monet' Salon & Spa in Winston-Salem, NC

I have been going to Monet salon and spa over a year now. I have never been so pleased with their services. Kyerstene the owner always does my hair and color. She is so up to date with the newest and best products
for my hair. I suggest if you are looking for real professionalism try this salon.

I have had three hairstylists in the past couple years and none of them treated me so horribly. The first time I came in i was offered wine coffee and tea and was welcomed. But the second time around I was treated the exact opposite just because I wasn't ready to get my hair colored by someone new. My past hairstylists I had built trust with them and been with them for at least three years each. I had just moved to the area and for my second appt I just wanted a trim and some layers. I ended up getting my hair ruined for vacation and now I can't wear my hair down without a headband covering up the mistakes. I was told the pictures I showed attached below had no layers, but you can tell the length is not the same all around. I showed the same pictures to my old hairstylists in my homestate and they never had any issues recreating the same haircut. She stated all they did was curl the hair. No, some curls are different lengths than others, its not the same length all around. She proceeded to just cut some of my hair to the same length of my baby hair. She has horrible experience with short hair. If you think two short pieces of hair in the front consists of style, that is really shocking. I obviously like to wear my hair down when im off from work but now im forced to hide from taking pictures until it grows out. She's lucky my hair grows fast. She said she was face framing, i did not ask for bangs and I do not have hair long enough to face frame. She should have just stuck with the picture and yet she was giving me an attitude about what I wanted, I was unhappy and yet I still tipped her but it really wasnt deserved, I did it more out of pity.  i would not recommend to anyone with hair above the shoulders, i will try a different salon the next time Im back from work in a few months. Im so glad I did not trust her with coloring my hair, or I would have been left with permanent damage! At least i wont have to suffer long until my hair grows back and I can have someone else fix her mistakes. She has little experience with short hair. Im driving eight hours just to get my hair colored, thats how awful it looks. Id rather drive far than deal with the horrible service again.

Very professional, caring, and makes sure the customer is happy. Very happy with the services I received. Also bonus has a product line for all hair types and specifically for those with natural hair.
