I really tried to stay at this place but the prices keep going up and today was the last straw- last week I spent $85 for gel polish changes (not a mani/pedi)...regardless that was too much. Today I asked for the dip/gel to be taken off and clear coat put on bc the dip ruined my nails. I will admit I did not want a manicure - I left with some of the dip still on my nails and my nails are paper thin from the filing. They are pretty sore and now need a break. This is what they looked like when I left. I'm sorry but someone is always in there complaining and I'm starting to see their point. Very upsetting. Today was my last day going there. I did give 2 stars bc most of the staff is nice...I will give them that.
I would give this place more stars. My sister was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and is having surgery tomorrow. I finally talked her into getting out of the house for a pedicure. Wasn't easy but we got here, which is her salon that she hasn't been to in over a year (thanks, covid). I showed a pic of something I found on Instagram and the staff Kathy and Brenden recreated it. My sister smiled and laughed, the design brought her such joy. She then got an eyebrow wax from Brenden she is very happy with. This place has HEART!
Absolutely terrible business. I got my eyebrows waxed 2 days ago and I have two burn wounds now. I went in to let them know and I said I didn't want the girl to get in trouble but I would like something in return for my trouble. They offered to give me my $8 back and I said how about a pedicure instead because I will feel like I deserve more then just a refund beings I have Mark's above my eyebrows that now need to heal. The owner lady their and her son are not good business people. They tried to give me all these excuses and were not trying to work with me. I will never go back to this place and I highly advise that no one else goes there either. They have bad karma coming to them for the way that they treated me. And so it is.
Where do I begin? My first time here I made an appointment and just got my nails taken off. John who I believe is the owner did my nails the times I have been here. John is overly friendly to the point where if there is a serious situation he is laughing. The first time I actually got my nails done he did them all crooked. Unfortunately, his hands shake when he works so that might have something to do with it. Anyway, I gave the salon a second chance bc he was friendly. The next times I went back I always made an appointment yet I had to wait each time. In addition, one of the times I went John did not pick the right color I wanted and I needed to get the color taken off. He took someone else and then fixed my nails. The lady he had assigned to at least remove the color cut my cuticles with the drill. Nonetheless, I came back bc of John. The last straw was last week when he did my nails. They were lifting and the shape was off. No matter how I tried to inform him I was unsatisfied he just kept laughing. That was it for me. John is sloppy with his work and makes the nails look cheaply done by not filing correctly and taking his time. I shouldn't have to tell him how to do his job. Especially since he's like the owner or manager. The worst part is that there is no discount or accommodation if a customer doesn't like their nails. Skip this place if you enjoy nice nails go ahead and check them out if you want subpar service.
70 for a pedicure ? No thanks... I went there for my nails and asked for 1 line on 1 nail and ended up with 2 stripes on my nail that I specifically said I didn't want when they suggested it... they also added glitter . Not sure why? Don't go here horrible nail techs . Other then LEE he's cool and good at his job
