If I could give this play zero Stars I would so the braiding hair salon I was supposed to get booked for hairstyle and I never did a co-payment before for my hair so my cash app that I downloaded I never used it before it wouldn't take it  cuz I had a prepaid card and the person that was supposed to do my hair and it was Britney and I explained that to her so this past Wednesday it's snow and the weather bad and I don't have a car and no Lyft rides was available for me so I let her know that and she told me that the streets were fine but the point was regardless of the streets were fine or not no Lyft ride was coming out so long story short I asked to cannot bring it today and she tell I can all just to come there all the way there and tell me that my appointment is unavailable I will never be back I understand that maybe she was upset something that was out of my control but you make your business look very bad it's no big deal to me because I can always get my hair braided at any time by someone else of course but her if she keeps this up no one's going to want to go to her and I'm so glad that I didn't spend too much money getting out there but I recommend do not go there it's very unprofessional oh and by the way it was my first time there

I've been debating if I should even write this review because I'm not one to jump online and do something like this,  but I felt it was important to do this...

For months I have been trying to find a barber that I felt  comfortable going to. I was so happy when I found a guy at this place. He did such an amazing job the first time I went, they are conveniently located near me, and not too costly. I felt was set. Now, I'm well aware of the kinda talk that goes on in a barber shop. It's just a way of life for us, but  last time I was there, some of the guys said some of the most homophobic sh*t I've ever heard. Not only in the sense of using offensive words, but just gross comments about gay people in general.  Look, I get it, not everyone agrees with or are comfortable with gay men and how we live our  lives, but it's also 2015 and you've got to be  stupid as fcuk  to think that 100% of the people you interact with are straight, especially in a customer/consumer line of work. As a gay man, that kinda talk made me uncomfortable and made me feel me and people like me weren't welcome. NO ONE SHOULD HAVE TO ENDURE THAT BS.

I've gone back and forth in my mind about going back there. Just to be clear, my barber was great. A tad bit close minded on the subject, but didn't say half of the stuff the other guys were saying. And to be real, I think he sensed how uncomfortable i was getting.

Sadly, I can't allow myself to go back there. I hate that he and the business has to take a hit due to the ignorance of others.

I'm speaking up for people like me and supporters of people like me. ITS SOON TO BE 2016!!! Gay people exist and unfortunately for you, aren't going anywhere.
