Dynasty Hair Design & barber in Clifton, NJ

I made an appointment for August for a keratin and haircut. I called one week before my appt to cancel my keratin treatment. 2 days before my haircut I had to Cancel because I was sick. Alex was rude and said u 1st cancel the keratin and now the color when I called him . People do get sick Alex. To cancel a doctors appt you need 24 hours. Needless to say my 1st appt with Alex he stripped my hair and I was there first thing in the morning and left last at night because he would take customers in between the process. I was very patient. When I made another appt for october 20,2020 I arrived at 10:00 am. Alex was not there and one of the girls had to call him. She put me on the phone with him and he said he had another appt to attend and could not be there. If i could come back another date. I then picked Oct 22, 2020 at 10:00am. Waited in my car until 10:15 then called. The lady said to come in to wait. Alex was not there again. Alex told the girls he was in traffic. I had a deep conditoner done by the other hairdresser and decided to have a trim by the other hairdresser. He then shows up when my hair is almost blow dried. When I get up to pay, Alex jumps behind the register to take my payment $50.00 like a psycho. I gave the ladies a tip because they are truly wonderful ladies. When i got home to write my review they had a 20.00 coupon off and did not offer it to me. That's ok. No big deal. Alex is a very spiteful, inconsiderate person. He needs to educate himself on how to treat customers and learn how to behave in a business. I would drive 45 min to get to his salon. He is very inconsiderate.

So I show up for my first appointment as a new customer, and my hairstylist apparently called out. I got no call or anything and I left during my lunch hour to do this. NEVER coming back.

I have been visiting this place for every hair cut for the last 4 years. The hair dresser Vicky was superb at styling and cuts. Lately things changed and lat visit I had was horrible. I never liked the way the personnel was in this place but I was still visiting for Vicky. My last experience cost me all my hair. I wanted to have highlights. Result burnt hair! Burnt completely. I was in at 9 out at 3! With a horrible result. That was disappointing. I paid, and as I was leaving I was given $5 coupon to be used on the next visit for the mess Vicky created. That was the top of rudeness. I was insulted. She shouldn't have charged me, let alone at least treat me nice. None!! Because she was over booked and her customers were waiting I was rushed out after sitting in chemicals for 5 hours. I left to get a full hair cut super short so I could get that burnt hair out. I am taking them to court!

This place is awesome. Alex does the best job! He is an awesome stylist. Just make sure you have an appointment because he is always busy and booked. They always have great snacks! They even sell granola because it's so delish. They have great deals. The staff is super friendly. They also sell jewelry and purses to finish your look before you go out on the town! You cant go wrong with this place. I even take my kids here for haircuts. Love cool hair studio!

Went there for the first time today. I had very, very long hair. Lisa gave me a great cut with long layers. She explained everything she was going to do before she did it and made sure I was happy with the length and style. Lisa did an awesome job and my hair looks great. I will definitely be coming back!
