I scheduled an appointment with a new deva curl stylist, because I always use deva curl stylists. I was excited when I pulled up because they had this beautiful sticker on the window talking about "all we do are curls". Except it should've said, "all we do are curls on white women"

I have zero problem with someone being unqualified to do textured hair. But do better with your business. Have screener questions, ask your client when they book the appointment what type of hair they have, clarify before you take the appointment. Shitty business practices, shitty stylists.

10/10 would NOT recommend. I am new to the area and thought I would try this salon. I went in for a TRIM and left with 6 inches off the front of my hair and the choppiest haircut I have ever had in my life. While I was getting my hair done, the stylist made several comments such as "see I am not taking off that much", "hair grows back", etc. I worked for 3 years to get my hair this long and just like that it is gone. Please do not go to this salon.
Dana is the best. She does my color, cuts, and keratin. I have gone to her for 11 years. She is the one who told me about keratin... finally I can have hair that isnt fluffy in humidity!
I had a great experience @ DV8! Dana washed, cut & styled my hair. She listened to what I wanted (& didn't want) & showed her a couple examples of styles I liked. She nailed it!!! I love my new haircut & I've already gotten so many compliments on it!! Thank you, Dana!!
