Lilly! is a master at her craft. I was made to feel welcome, this was my 2d appointment there. I I took a my time to find another nail tech after a disappointing issue with my previous salon. This diamond in the rough it is located in the Landsdowne shopping center, a few doors down from the CVS. Miss Julie is in charge, she has the first chair, but I am grateful for Lilly. She asks you want you want and actually listens. Now I am biased (she is the only one I will let do my nails)
Job is rushed. And nails dont stay on that long. They dont properly fill the nails in. They change the prices on you at the last moment
I have been coming to this salon for years. The staff are kind, friendly, attentive, and very professional. They are really affordable, and I've never felt like they were nickel and diming me. No matter where I have moved over the years, I make my way back to this shop :).
So I called this place last Tuesday and they told me it costs $22 for a full set with regular polish. So I went and once she finished she said it would be $30. I didn't get anything special, no design or extra long nails, so I don't know why she charged me $8 more than what she said on the phone. I didn't feel like fighting so I paid and tipped 20%. Within three days the polish was changing color, bubbling, and THREE of my nails had come off. I work all weekend so I didn't have a chance to go back and fix them for a couple days. Today, I went in and got them fixed. She did a really sloppy job and it's super obvious which nails had been redone. So I'm about to leave and I thank her and I get to the door and she says, "ARE YOU GOING TO PAY??". First off, I was stunned she would yell that across the crowded store. So I walked up to her, while she was still with a client, so I didn't have to yell and said, "I got these done 6 days ago and 3 nails have come off. Do I really have to pay to fix them?". She said, "Whatever, leave" and flicked her hand at me. I will never, ever come back to this place and I STRONGLY recommend you go elsewhere.
Just got my nails done by Dream Nails today and I think they did a great job... I will go back there again... I liked the staff to they was nice... And it was cheap for me to get my nails done... That got good prices there... They was quick I was in and out in no time... Thank You... You did an amazing job on my nails...
