Dollhouse Salon & Blow Dry Bar in Richmond, IN

I called to schedule an appointment for a perm. I was told there is one individual who does the perms and she was currently with a client. I was asked for my phone number and was told she would call me. It is now a day later and I have yet to hear from anyone. I guess she doesn't need the business.

Over 4 years later, I'm still a loyal Doll. If it tells you anything, I now drive from Indy for Jennifer's mad skills. She's just that good at her craft.

It doesn't matter what hair-brained idea (see what I did there??) I walk in with, Jennifer always makes it happen. I tell her I'm growing my hair out, she shapes my pixie up into a presentable shape until it's a sassy little bob. I tell her I want to chop it off, she makes sure I'm not having an existential crisis before giving me the perfectly edgy pixie yet again. She slays my color, even when I have no idea what I want.

The Dolls kick a$$. 'Nuf said

I went to Dollhouse for the first time two weeks ago and had a great experience. I had Tabitha who gave me a great trim, as well as new highlights and a blowout. Unlike the person I had at a different salon, she knew exactly how to cut my bangs to give me the person side bangs look. The blowout style looked phenomenal! I had never gotten one before and I was pleasantly surprised. Tabitha also offered me a chai latte during my highlights which was very nice of her.

The salon itself is located in an older house but has been beautifully decorated by the hairstylists. It's a very modern look.
Highly recommend and I'll definitely be going back!

I am new to Indiana, having lived in CA my entire life, and was searching online for a hair salon in my area (union city). I found Dollhouse on Yelp and Facebook, I was pretty surprised when I saw that they had like 0 bad reviews. (I have not found any) So I decided to give them a try.. My hair had (at least a year) old color on it because I had just come out of pregnancy and was scared to get it colored during my pregnancy.. I asked my stylist (Lauren) if I could have her do balayage (or however you spell it) on my hair and that I wanted to get to a bright blonde. When we were finished my hair was not a bright blonde ...however I knew that this would take a couple of sessions seeing as how much old color had been left on my hair. I am returning this week to get more blonde put into my hair.. Hopefully this session I come out looking more like what I had wanted. Great service.. The salon has a fun feeling/environment to it and the ladies talk to you which helps the time pass. I loved my experience here so I will give it 5 stars as well :) (will also update this post after my hair appt this week)
