Re: STUDIO 25-DOLCE Vita Dolce Vita Salon had style, class and some very talented stylists. After being a client for four years, Dolce Vita was sold and has become Studio 25 and has taken on the appearance of a low class salon and the talented stylists have moved on. Because the few stylists run their own booths, no one is at the front desk or answering phone calls.. I had an appointment with my stylist at the original Dolce Vita but was told she was gone, but I could see TAMRA. She cut my hair and it was literally chopped resulting in an uneven and absolutely bizarre and unprofessional style. She actually cut a straight line right across the back of my hair. I had been growing my hair out for a year to achieve a bob and lost inches of growth. When I told her my hair was too short, she went into an actual tirade. She was shouting about how long she had been in the business, didn't have to take any criticism and didn't want to see me again. Well, there was absolutely no chance that I would ever see her again!!! During the last month, I have heard many people, including hair stylists, state how bad Studio 25 really is. I now have a talented and professional stylist who is repairing the damage that TAMRA was responsible for.

I've been to Dolce Vita 4 times total. First time amazing, my mother had brain surgery and they basically brought her back to life after cutting her hair and making her look human again. Second time, I went for a full foil highlight. Loved the color however the lady doing my hair did not rinse my hair out completely, it was closing time so she rushed and 3 other people pulling foils from my hair, they were in such a hurry to leave they left bleach in my hair in the back. Well it burned my hair and I lost half of my hair. One of the ladys that were pulling foils (her name was Haylee). Third time visiting (made an appt for a root touch up). Gave all my info. Went to appt got Haylee as my stylist. When I arrived for my appt she said she didnt have time and she told me she didnt help with my hair (side note I have pics because I thought it was odd that I had 4 people working on my hair). VERY VERY RUDE, basically told me "oh well". Got a call from a manager about the situation. She gave me a complimentary visit. Went back, got Eryka as my stylist. She is 19 years old and brand new at this. I have to say that Eryka did an AMAZING job. Great customer service skills, very thourough and she listened to my opinions. I'd definitely recommend Eryka but Haylee on the other hand needs training in customer service. Eryka redeemed Dolce for me.

Such a relaxing spa like environment! This salon smells amazing and really made me feel relaxed and pampered. My stylist Alexia is super too. She left LA with all her celebrity clientele and it always makes me say that LA's loss is Sycamore's win! Alexia does great cuts, color, updo etc. Whatever you need she's the best. My fiancé even goes here now. Next month when my toddler turns 2, I plan on bringing him as well. Overall- beautiful salon and trustworthy stylist Alexia!

Unfortunately a friend of mine had a bad experience at the salon... you would think it's a time to relax and enjoy being pampered but that wasn't it for my friend... there is so much drama between the girls there and they continue to talk badly about one to another and just show how fake they are to each other.... It felt like being back in high school. Please hire mature people or at least have them keep their drama to themselves. There was so much more that happened and she over heard how some stylists knowingly they were sick... still came in and not care about anyones health... please be aware and if you want to relax.. this isn't the place.

I had a horrible experience with a young stylist named Samantha S. I explained that I would like a blowout and I would like it straight and flat as possible because my hair has natural bounce and curl. Halfway through the appointment it was clear the method she was using, which is not the traditional blowout method was creating frizz and not the look I wanted. She became combative and frustrated that I would dare have an opinion or suggestion in what works best with my hair. she continued doing it her way and left me with damp frizzy hair. I had to leave and immediately find someplace else to get my hair done. I'm not sure what was worse: the poor customer service I received or the lack of skills displayed by this stylist. I understand we were all young and have to start somewhere perperhaps a little humility and allowing the customer to have a voice and how they look would go a long way for her.
