Divine Nail Spa in Manassas, VA

Went there today to relax and get pedicure and dip manicure. It was loud while getting pedicure. Didn't get the color I really wanted because the nailist did not listen to me. My nails from my dip manicure are lumpy. I have never had lumpy nails. Like alot of other people, I work hard for my money. I am not sure what happened to service but this was disappointing. Waste of time and money.

Overpriced services. There is an extra charge for every thing. You will leave wondering if you just got robbed or scammed. I've been coming to this place for about a year now, but their prices and random charges made me look for a different place. They need to recognize that they have competition and there is a nail salon in every shopping center around here. I was charged $10 extra for the time it took to remove the polish and repaint TWO nails in addition to other laughable charges like $5 for filing my nails, and $10 for using 3 basic colors, $20 for the gel nail polish PLUS the base price for an acrylic refill. Total abuse! On top of that, I asked for a third coat of color because I could see my nail through the color, and the lady kept saying that it wasn't necessary and simply didn't do it. Yes, the place is clean and the decoration is beautiful. But, I'm not going to pay for decoration and cleanliness is expected. Also, listen to your customers and stop giving fake compliments to customers for higher tips. Just be genuine and do a great job and you will be tipped accordingly. I almost forget, stop complaining about the customer you have in front of you with the other ladies in whatever language you speak. It is rude.

Today I pointed to the INSIDE of my big toes and asked to clean a bit more that side because i had a pinching sensation. For no reason she makes a deep cut on the OUTSIDE, I start bleeding, I was hurting, I told her to stop and she went in 2 more times. Now, it hurts so much that I cannot wear closed shoes. In the picture you can see the dry blood on the right side of my toe. Please, stop the constant talking and focus on what you are doing.

I have a $100 gift card complete with receipt that they refused to honor because it expired during covid. Never going back.

Don't bother wasting your time and money if you plan on buying someone a gift certificate! SCAM! My husband purchased a GC for me over the summer. They provided him with the cute folder carrier and even taped the receipt inside of it. And the way this folder carrier was so nicely filled out, it looked like a normal hand written paper gift certificate. It wasn't until I went to redeem it last week, that I was told that what I was presenting was not valid. I was missing some sort of plastic gift card that should have been attached to the paperwork. Well...when my husband purchased the gift certificate, he didn't receive the plastic gift card. And then the salon even told me that I already redeemed the gift card a few months ago (a weekday in September at noon........I must have a twin I don't know about because I'm at work during the week). I have no idea what happened! All I know is that they short changed my husband by charging him for a gift certificate and then they did not follow through and process the transaction correctly. I've tried contacting the manager, but she refuses to help. She insists that my husband was given a plastic card and that I redeemed it. You know what I think.......I think that we were scammed! I think that whoever rang up the transaction kept the card and gave it away to a friend or family member. And I think that I'm not the first person this has happened to. So don't bother spending your money here......you will get scammed!
