Imperial Barbershop & Hair Salon in Manassas, VA

I took my son here today after booking an appointment with Omar for 5:30. We showed up at 5:15, we were greeted when we went in however no one asked if we had an appointment. We waited until 6pm for the lady to say she could cut my son's hair, he declined saying he would prefer Omar. She was clearly not happy about this and said Omar was leaving and could not cut his hair. Omar never said anything, and did end up leaving. There was a younger gentleman Manuel (sorry if I misspell) who offered to cut his hair so we had him do a fade. My son is so happy with his cut, thank you Manuel you redeemed our experience and my son wants to see you every time now. I would suggest to not use the booking system because they do not pay attention to that from what I can tell. We love to support local small family owned businesses as much as we can we will return to see Manuel again, just hope the service from the beginning will be a little better.

Firstly, I would like to clarify that my negative review was not solely about the wait time. While the wait time was certainly frustrating, my main issue was with the quality of the haircut itself. Specifically, I had requested a certain style for my son's hair and unfortunately, the lady barber who cut his hair completely ignored my requests and shaved his head instead. This was extremely disappointing and frustrating for me. You even agreed when you saw his hair. Furthermore, I would like to reiterate that your response to my initial comment was dismissive and unprofessional. As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect and courtesy, especially when I am providing feedback on my experience. Your response on WhatsApp and Google did not address my concerns in a constructive manner and instead focused on defending yourself and minimizing my experience. Lastly, I want to make it clear that it takes a lot for me to leave a negative review. I have been a loyal customer of yours for some time and have appreciated the quality of your work in the past, by doubling the amount. You are very well aware of rhat. However, I cannot overlook the disappointing experience I had during my last visit to your salon. Original feedback: I had an absolutely terrible experience at Imperial Barber Shop in Manassas, VA. I made an appointment for my son and myself but it turned out to be a complete waste of time. Firstly, they didn't even honor my appointment time and I had to wait for over an hour before they even acknowledged me. This is extremely unprofessional and shows a complete lack of respect for their customers' time. To make matters worse, when it was finally our turn, the stylist completely butchered my son's haircut. Despite showing her pictures and giving her clear instructions, she shaved off most of his hair, leaving only half an inch on top. It was a terrible haircut that my son has never had to endure in his 18 years of life. I was appalled at the lack of skill and professionalism displayed by the stylist. As for me, they didn't even cut my hair. They completely ignored my appointment and left me sitting there waiting for nothing. I couldn't believe the level of incompetence and disrespect shown by this establishment. Overall, I had a horrible experience at Imperial Barber Shop and I would never recommend them to anyone. The unprofessionalism and lack of skill exhibited by the staff are simply unacceptable. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else for your haircut.

Great barbershop friendly and clean one of the best cuts I've had in a long time. I think I've found the place that everyone is looking for and it's awesome. Well light clean and safe with great people running the establishment
