Deux Salon & Barber Shop in Long Beach, CA

Great place for a quick men's cut or, for a woman to get a full blown cut, color and style. Because I wear my hair pretty short, I've been cutting my own hair for a while. Today, I decided to get my haircut at a 'local' shop that's close to my house. I chose 'Duex', as it's a nice, clean, small shop that's within walking distance from my home. The owner Kim greeted me and talked about what I was looking for. She provided very nice conversation, she put the TV on to music videos for me to watch and I swear, this is likely the BEST haircut I've had in a LONG time!!! Seriously. Then, to top it off, the cost of the haircut was more than reasonable!! ( I don't want to say how much, in case prices change) But trust me, more reasonable than ANY Barber Shop / Salon that I'm aware of. If you're looking for a nice quiet independent salon that does great work and charge reasonable prices, GO TO DUEX!!!! (Ask for Kim). When you're done with your haircut, you can grab a bite at Manaow Thai or, a coffee at the Library Coffee shop, both just down the street.

Amazing haircut! Much cuter than I envisioned! I told Kim I simply wanted a trim and long layers and I left with a great new hairstyle and much softer hair. I definitely recommend coming here, and I'll be coming back for future trims!

I've had $100 haircuts, $35 haircuts and everything in between. This is hands down the best haircut and blowout I've ever had! Kim did an unbelievable job with my hair and has such affordable prices, especially considering her experience and the quality of her work. She helped me pick a style that best suits my fine 2B curls whether my hair is curly or straight. With a few minor adjustments in the way she trimmed my hair from my previous style, she made my hair look volumized and gorgeous. I'll be back! :)

The hairdresser was so nice and definitely listened to what I wanted in my haircut! She was very friendly and we had a great conversation throughout the process. It is hard to come by a salon that does amazing long layers, blowout, and relaxing hair wash for a reasonable prices; I am so so happy with the results!!!

Kim did a terrific job on my haircut! She is very professional and friendly. She took her time. She didn't rush. But she was also fast. And before she started, she made sure she understood what I wanted and provided some suggestions as an option. My haircut is simple, but the details are very important, and Kim spent time to get the details right! Thanks Kim! :-)
