It was a long needed pedicure!! First pedicure in 2023!! Lol waited 3 months to get it! XD Today I had Elaine who helped me as Nancy is on vacation. She is just as amazing as Nancy! I've had Elaine help me a couple times in the past and her work is just as beautiful! You can tell she loves what she does and has a passion to do nails for others! Very kind hearted and sweet! She can keep a conversation going and that's amazing! I haven't done a pedi later in the evening in a while so I'm definitely awake by then because lately I would come in early in the morning to see Nancy and doze off while she does the pedicure!!! Lol sorry Nancy!!

Elaine did a fantastic job!!! I could see that she took her time and paid very close attention to the details as well. If you ever need to get a pedicure or manicure, this is the place to go!! See Elaine or Nancy!! Both of these ladies does such an amazing job as you can tell they take pride in the work they do!! It never disappoints!!! I gotta make an appointment to do my nails soon!! XD

Ladies are always the sweetest and will always try to accommodate your schedule! They do not rush while you are in their chair. They take their time and provide quality work, especially Nancy.
Nancy takes great time and care of her clients. Her forearm and hand massage helps alleviate all of the tightness and provides a certain zen type of feeling afterwards. Like all of your weekly stress is leaving your fingertips.

Elaine deserves 10-stars!!! She is such a gem find here at Fort Street-Downtown. She is available on Thur/Fri at this location and she has a sister nail salon in Kapolei (I think) but it's so easy to come see her during the week when I come into the office. She is such an amazing artist and all-around amazing person to get to know. I never felt judged that I used to do the same design (glitter fade acrylic on my natural nails) but now that I am venturing out (rainbow jelly nails) she's super helpful with designs/styles that I've seen online. You will not be disappointed with her work!

Please call to set up an appointment with her because she's normally booked. Her salon is right next to Scarlet (on the opposite side of Subway).

English being a second language for her & English being a first language for me is bound to lead to miscommunication.

Planned on having a quick marriage ceremony in 3 days so I called yesterday to make an appointment for the day of or tomorrow (aka today) she was booked for Monday so I took Tuesday for 1PM. I said I wanted acrylic nails manicure & pedicure. In the mist, she mentioned fill in but with the excitement to get it done because its been so long & the language difference, I quickly said yes.

Found out later that day that I needed to push back my wedding 2 weeks but instead of canceling my nails, I decided to just pamper myself anyways & follow through.

Day of, I walked over to my appointment, got there at 1245PM only to find out there was miscommunication. She said "she was doing a wedding, she confirmed with me for fill in, you said yes". Ok so if theres no time for full acrylic set? Can I just do a pedicure & she said she has no time.

Tried to see if I could reschedule for this week but she was only available next week. Fortunately, my wedding was pushed back so canceling the appointment wouldn't be that big of a deal.

She was very apologetic & nice about it but I can't help but to feel a little frustrated & discouraged.

Even though the shop itself looks a little run down, the service here is great! I'm so glad I stopped here to get a pedicure and a lip waxing! She did an excellent massage/scrub that my feet feel brand new! She is so kind and it shows that she wants to do a good job. I would come back here again.
