I went in for a simple haircut and shampoo. Carina (my stylist) was amazing! She took her time helping me figure out what I wanted to support my transition, and didn't rush through the appointment. I learned a lot, too. She was happy to recommend some products, but wasn't pushy about it. The space is big and open, and well lit with natural lighting. Will be going back!

Heidi was recommended to me by a friend. I went in with a big ask - so this review takes that into account. I've worn my very curly hair long for many years and I wanted a change, so I asked Heidi to do a pretty radical cut. She did what I asked and she seemed at the time to understand that this was a total change for me. We talked about cutting conservatively, since she can always cut more. So, I was really surprised when, after the weekend and having a couple of days of seeing this new style, I texted Heidi that it's too bushy and can she fit me in for an adjustment? ... and she said she would do a few minutes 'consult' with me, but didn't have time for another month to make changes. Through a little back and forth texting, I assured her that I wasn't blaming her, that I didn't know how it would turn out. She then claimed that it's not what I want because I wouldn't let her put products in my hair when she cut it?!? Like the product would make it lay down better forever? I don't use them in my hair because I don't like the smell and if I never use hair gels, why would that make my haircut better? I can't go back to her and, unfortunately, wouldn't recommend her.

Second review for this salon. Previously my boyfriend came during Covid and was seen by Andy whom has since retired. This time we both got haircuts. He got a great haircut from Dayton and I got a great haircut from Carina. I'm very picky when it comes to my fringe and she did a great job. We were both able to get in at the same time. Him on the men's side and myself on the salon side. Beautiful place and really nice people. Both of us will be back.

Heidi is amazing. After spending over an hour on cutting my hair, my hair looks just the way I want it. Her haircuts are the best, I drive from Marin, as she dies a better job than anyone down here.

What a special place!! I have one amazing cosmetologist ,beautician , colorist and goddess in Cassidy. She shares her talent and expertise easily. All the staff at D & Qs is so talented. I see Cassidy for hair color/cut and I feel blessed to have found her. Her talent is apparent, her knowledge and kindness has made my hair journey so smooth. And I've never felt more confident about myself and my hair. The vibes are warm, the people are cool and the salon itself is cozy and chic.
