I had a terrible experience here. Val only takes cash (says the credit card machine was broken) and you have No idea what your hair appointment will cost. I spent a boatload of money on the first appt as I was pressured to buy their shampoos and conditioners, brushes etc etc. On the second appointment, she YELLED at me claiming I was not following her procedures with my hair. I decided that it was so inappropriate for her to embarrass me and act this way and decided to leave. Like a shrew, she screamed at me as I walked out the door. She later emailed me a nasty message and I blocked her. The shop is FILTHY and tacky. They want to charge RIDICULOUSLY high prices. There are many more talented beauticians in town. Don't open yourself up this thievery and rudeness.

Not sure where to start. But I'll just say fool me once shame on me, fool me twice shame on you. Really got duped in so many ways. Charging Hollywood prices for a local yokel salon. Cash only. Always questionable. Please tip signs hanging all over salon. No price for service notices posted anywhere. That's just the beginning of the facts. I'll just say I was duped much to my chagrin. Promises made promises broken

The artistic director Val damaged my hair severely. Left my scalped burned, her scissors cut the nape of my neck to the point of pain and swelling. I paid 400$ in cash and left after stopping her from cutting anymore of my hair in the most unflattering, uneven haphazard way for my thin now over-processed damaged hair. The cut was so bad I left in tears just to be informed that 400$ was not enough to cover my bill via rude text messages and phone calls calling me a thief. This summates a far worse review than I could of written. As a matter of fact this is the only review I have ever written about my experience but have a rude text message about something on google that I did not even write. So I felt obliged to inform anyone that chooses this salon to beware. I also left out several details about the lack of professionalism she exhibits. The salon is very dirty, dust, hair and hair filled brushes everywhere. Ripped chairs and the washing bowl is the back room with color tubes falling off the shelves and dirty mixing bowls everywhere. I have tried to reach the owner to discuss my experience and have not had any luck.
