DADA HAIR BRAIDING in Rock Hill, SC

I drove to Columbia on the recommendation of a colleague. When I arrived, the breeder was not yet there and the building was closed. I waited only a couple of minutes and the breeder arrived. She got right to work, and I described how I wanted my hair done.  I asked for knotless braids and a style that I would be able to put up in the barn. The breeder assured me that that was what she was going to do. There was a language barrier, so I am not sure that the breeder actually did understand how I wanted my hair. After about four hours, my hair was very neatly and beautifully braided, but nowhere near the knotless braids style i asked for. I had also asked at my braids not be too tight as I am an older woman and tight braids are extremely painful to me. The braids were so tight that I had a headache, and had to try various home remedies to loosen the braids up so I could even lay down and go to sleep. I kept the braids in for about three weeks. At no point was I able to even lift the braids up, let alone put them in a bun. Although the style was neat and well executed, it was not what I wanted or asked for.

Made an appointment for 1pm the day before and one of the hair braiders said that would be fine.  Arrived around 12:45 to see two women working on one customer.  I would've thought that since I had an appointment that I would get my hair started at exactly 1pm, however no one started on me until 2:15.  The hair they use is cheap.  I showed them a style I wanted and they said they could do it...it did not come out the way I wanted it to.  I can see where my hair ends in the braid.  They are ALWAYS picking up a phone call, taking longer than normal.  Overall I am not satisfied and will not come back again.  I gave them a chance because they had wonderful reviews but I'm confused as to how.

Amazing customer service & she was able to take me with a last min appointment. I will be coming back. She did an amazing job with my box braids. I was nervous because I always stick to one braider but I was sick of driving to n.c & really wanted to find someone local so glad I found this shop.

I love my hair!! Aciah made it easy to schedule an appointment with her. She was sweet and on time for my appointment. Jackie helped her on my hair as well and was great. My boxed braids took a little under 4hours which was great. I will be back! Thank you!
