Da Vi Nails in Waldorf, MD

I had the most unprofessional experience here today. First, I had been coming here for years for both hands and feet...Lisa does great work. I requested a basic pedicure with a powder fill on my toes only today. When I went to pay, I was shocked at the $90 price, so I questioned the owner (Lisa). She said this was always the price before, so I grudgingly gave her my card and said, every time I come here, the prices change. Well, this comment sparked anger at this point with both her and her husband. I asked her to just run my card so that I could leave. Rather than just leaving things alone, her husband kept talking, saying that I do this all the time (question pricing I guess) and told me to shut up. Now, mind you, this is where the disrespect crossed the line because the conversation was between me and Lisa. I had handed her my card to process. I was going to leave it alone and go about my day. Mind you I did not raise my voice, I just questioned the service received and the price that came with it. After the first shut up from Henry, I said nothing and kept directing my conversation to Lisa. After the second, shut up, I returned the disrespect and told him to shut up. Mind you, he was working on another customer. I could not get out of there fast enough. I had been coming here for years, and not one time have I had this issue, although I had seen verbal altercations with other customers. I do not recommend this business not only because of this situation which could have been avoided if I made sure the young lady understood that i wanted a basic pedicure...no spa, no special juces and berries but clipping here and there and scrub the bottoms. Another thing I could have done better was ask Lisa for the price BEFORE I sat down. As stated before, Lisa does great work. However, the wait time is ridiculously long. If you decide to go, please 1. be VERY clear on what you want... make sure they FULLY understand you, 2. Get that price UP FRONT so that you can make an informed decision 3. and pack some patience and some snacks because you will be there for at least 2 hours.

DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT go to this place. They are rude and have no customer service skills at all. There was some confusion about what I wanted done and the technician WENT OFF on me stomping up and down the floor that the Security Guard and manager came. At first I thought he was joking, but he was berserk and seriously out of control. Then the receptionist got loud and I had to tell her to lower her voice, how these people are still in business is beyond me. Too bad I can't give them negative stars as they clearly don't value their customers.

Completely awful!! If you go to this salon, DO NOT DEAL WITH LISA!!!!!! The past 2 times that I went, I was unfortunate enough to deal with Lisa. The first time I went, she cut my nails too short after I showed her the length I wanted and still charged me for the length I asked for. This time I went to get a fill after letting my nails grow to the length I wanted them. I already knew the price of a fill and to get my 2 nails fixed that I had broke. I've never had to pay for length when getting a fill before but today I was charged an extra $10 for length. I was also charged an extra $10 for basically another coat of polish that I didn't ask for because she had to do a metallic color. I made a phone call to my mom to ask her how much she normally pays to get her nails done and just to have conversations for a bit. I noticed that Lisa was shaking her head the entire time I'm on the phone. As soon as I got off the phone, Lisa tells me that if I don't like how much she is charging me then I can leave and that she wasn't overcharging me. I proceeded to tell her that if I had an issue with the price I wouldn't be sitting there getting my nails done and that she was very unprofessional for being in my phone conversation when it had nothing to do with her. I am extremely disappointed and unfortunately, she has ruined my entire outlook on the salon and I will not be returning.

I got my nails done here one month ago (see picture) and they are still intact. I sanitize my house daily 2-3x. I wash dishes daily. Quality nails for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend. The only issue with this location is that the Walmart employees are rude and inconsiderate to this business. They stand in the way of their entrance and make it hard for customers to see the entry.

Terrible customer service don't waste your time. We sat in the "waiting area" for a good 20-30 minutes. No one spoke to us or even looked our way. It wasn't crowded at all and one of the employees sat on her phone not working at all and STILL she did not acknowledge us.
