Da-Vi Nails in Marysville, CA

I had recently got my nails done with dip powder and it lasted three weeks. I went back to change the color and the very next day my entire thumb dip color came off in one whole piece. I went and got it fixed. No problem. Later that day my index finger had the same issue. I went back the next day to get it fixed and the same girl who did my nails looked at them and said she would need to redo all of them. She took a tool and slide it under each nail by my cuticle and they completely just popped off. She was very kind. She apologized. I waited for a good 40 minutes and the male who is working there worked on my nails. He questioned me quite a bit and wanted to know why I didn't come back same day to get my nail fixed. He was pretty rude. I explained to him I cannot stop everything I'm doing to fix my nail. He didn't even ask how I liked my nails shaped he just did them and I hate the shape. I already felt some type of way after being questioned so much that I didn't even want to intervene. I felt like he was so rough with my hands and I even got cut on two of my cuticles. I was going to chalk it up to it just being a bad experience and leave it at that. But this morning my thumb again is starting to pop off. At this point I'm not even going to go back to them and get it fixed. It's not worth it. I will pay for a brand new set elsewhere. Just for reference I get my nails done all the time. I have never had issues with nails coming off. This is all occurring on my left hand which is my non dominant hand. I do not wash dishes. And I do not deal with water and extended amount of time. I do not play sports. There should be absolutely no reason on my end why this Is occurring.

If you are new to the Marysville, Olivehurst or Plumas Lake area I would NOT recommend this salon. At least one of the technicians is a racist!! We used their online portal to schedule 3 appointments for myself and 2 others. Upon arrival at the shop, we checked in and waited to be called. After 20 minutes, I asked when would the technicians that we booked appointments with be ready. I was told that the selected technicians were not there and wouldn't be working that day. I thought that was odd since they had them on the portal with available times. They told me that the online portal was inaccurate and we should have called. One of the technician named Kone walked over to front and told me to pick a color. I advised that I wanted a french pedi. He said okay and went back to his station. After about 10 more minutes, I was seated at a pedicure chair. After about 10 more minutes a technician came to start my pedi. After I showed her what pedi that I wanted, she proceeded to do my pedicure. One of the persons that was with me was also getting the same pedicure so once the technician started skipping steps on mine (i.e. lotion, massage, wax,) which was why I selected the pedicure package that I did, I started asking if she was going to provide those service. Her response was, "Oh you want the same package as the person next to you?" I was perplexed, as I had selected this package before them and she already knew this. She got up and went to the back to get some more things and attempted to make some corrections. After she finished she brought me a book of nail colors. I advised her again that I was getting french tips. She then told me that they don't offer french tips unless you are getting gel polish. (Because my skin has a bad reaction to the light that is used with gel polish, I had originally opted not to get that type of pedicure, nor did I request it. HERE IS WHERE THE REAL DRAMA STARTED!! The technician KONE who was working on someone next to me, interjected and said, "We don't do french tip, she can't do french tip, you have to get gel." I asked him, why wasn't this made clear when I advised you guys 3 times on what I wanted? He said "Well we don't do it!" He then rudely shrugged me off. I then decided (in my mind) I am just going to do a review of my experience on this place and I took a few pics of the shop and of Kone. The technician that was working on me was coming from the back and alerted him to this. He stopped what he was doing and got in my face and told me to delete the picture. I told him no, he was rude and I was going to need it for my review. In a threatening manner he started yelling at me. I stayed in my seat while he hurled racist insults at me and told him to get out of my face. One of my male guests told him to calm down. He went back to sitting in front of his client. I told him he was rude and he told me to shut up. I was insulted and felt attacked by this person. At first I thought he was just rude but after his insults, it felt more racially motivated. I looked to get his license information before I left but there was no license for him or any of the technicians displayed.

The technicians there are very skilled at what they do, sweet and friendly. I brought my 2 daughters who are 3yo and 5yo for their first time, they both got a mani pedi. I love how patient and kid friendly the staff is! Also, they are very clean and equipment/supplies are always changed out after each use. Highly recommend!!

No wait. Went on a Wednesday evening for a pedicure and gel set. Received both at the same time . Loved it. Very relaxing music. Nice pedicure chairs with full massage. The pedicure was amazing. She took her time. Very clean space. Over 9 spaces for nails. They have very cute designs to pick from! Gel is $15 extra They take Venmo! Gotta love the convenience! $110 total and it include a design. Very happy

If you want great service and great nails please visit this place. They are very professional and they take very good care of you. I have been seeing my nail lady for over 5 years and wouldn't go any place else any place else.
