Quite possibly the worst pedicure I've ever received. The woman who greeted me was very nice ~ but then she transferred me to a gentleman who... probably should not be doing pedicures . Extremely rough scrubbing the nail polish from my previous pedicure ~ a whopping 2 weeks old. He then cut my already short toenails even when I said they were fine. Next he dug the cuticle trimmers into the corners of my big toes to which I repeatedly said 'ouch' (getting those corners trimmed is usually one of my favorite parts of getting a professional pedicure). Followed this with grading the bejezus out of my heels (to be fair, they were extremely dry ). Next he slathered something that I thought was lotion on my legs but before it had the chance to dry or him to rub it in he took a wet towel and wiped it off. Finished with a quick paint that didn't quite cover my nails ~ but covered my cuticles in some spots and picked all my stuff up and told me how much I owed (apparently there is no waiting for your nails to dry here ) and the final kicker... the pedicure was posted in at least two areas as a reasonable $28 ~ but he ran my card for $33 ~ ah well, I like to refer to that as a good riddance tip
LONG story short... the pedicure was so awful ~ it was laughable
I will never go to another nail spot. EVER. Tina is awesome at doing my full set. Looks amazing and lasts long. Steve is amazing at his pedicures. Always has my feet looking great.
This is located inside Walmart on Lakemead...convenient for walk-in but epic fail on gel nail. Came out LUMPY and the nail tech said maybe it's your nail bed...
The lady who owns this place is VERY unprofessional. I went in for a regular manicure and when the man doing my nails was done applying the polish he used a lamp to "dry" my nails for 5 minutes and said I was done. When I looked at my nails I told him that they weren't dry yet he touched him and said yes and I told him no look it's messed up he redid them and put the light on for three more minutes that's why I was done and I said I would like more time so they dry completely. He looked a little upset with me so he told the owner to ask me to leave and she claimed that due to Covid I couldn't stay there to dry my nails that I needed to go out and air dry them, and to next time get gel polish because it's only $10 more. I understand space is limited due to Covid but you can't ask a client to leave if you haven't finished a service!!!

I met Tina who did my nails she had EXTREMELY LONG FALSE NAILS that she tried to use to clean under my nails. COVID-19
I had to tell her to use a nail file and not her nail, that's nasty!
She called herself cutting my cuticles and since her nails were too long of course she sucked at manicures and cutting. I have skin to this day, I am trying to get off due to her lack of skill.
Getting my nails done before my interview was a must and everyone else was busy. I was screwed...
The filing sucked too! I asked for round and I promise they are not all shaped properly. I paid for a manicure and pedicure so I for sure went back after my interview to finish. I also needed my nails done for my birthday so I was in a rush as far as running out of time.
When I went back for my pedicure she had this old man try and give me a pedicure. HE CUT ENTIRELY TOO MUCH NAIL and couldn't shape ANY OF THEM. And due to not knowing what he was doing, I now have long and short toe nails. I never could fix the problem. It was so bad I took the file from his hands and began filing my toenails myself. I asked for the nails to be filed the same and to get a nail on my big toes.
I made a huge mistake going to Da VI Nails inside walmart and I promise that will never happen again.
If I am paying, I am paying for GREAT SERVICE, not crappy service and someone's dirty nail used on me to clean my nail.
Had I filed my own nails instead of WASTING MY MONEY I would actually have filed nails all square or all round. Now, I have mixed square, round and some undone crap.
NEVER EVER WILL I WASTE MY MONEY AT THIS PLACE ANYMORE.
This is why I do my own nails...
Not only do they have a bad attitude, speak a different language to COVER THEIR IGNORANCE but this place showed me that they weren't skilled enough to be a repeat customer.
