Da-Vi Nails in Gastonia, NC

4 stars. I've been coming here for the past year for mani and pedicures.
Vietnamese staff with limited language skills but still professional and efficient.  
Prices reasonable. Half of the fun is the entertainment.  The "people of Walmart" show is fun to watch.

They wont EVER have to worry about seeing me again!!  Just left this shop after the shl!ttiest service I just experienced Who goes to a nail salon and asks for GEL nails done on the feet and NOT HAVE THEM SOAK your feet??? You don't know how dirty my feet were?!? I'm asking for a service and got a once over with a water hose and then polish applied!! I  asked 3 TIMES prior why weren't my feet soaked?  At what point does it click that I'm here for a pedicure?  'NO,  DOWN' is the response I got.  Was planning to  also treat myself to an SNS manicure also, so money was going to be spent!!  THEN after the apparent disconnect and to add insult they not only TOLD ME that I asked for a polsh change which was not the case, charged me !%!& $30 for Gel nails to be added to my toes and was asked, ' next time (as IF) I need to SAY GEL PEDICURE' when asking for this service?!?!  WTF-REALLY???  Perplexed, befuddled, P.O.'d, bewildered, and confused is how I left there - no apology, no contrition, no, "what can we do?"...."let us make it right" and $30 lighter.  If you can't communicate with your consumers, If you cannot please the consumers,
satisfactorily, - especially A PARTICULAR "TYPE "OF CONSUMER with the money to spend, WHY ARE YOU IN BUSINESS?!?!?  Far too many competitors out here who understand what part the 'customer"plays in customer service!!  DO BETTER, because you have less than 4 stars FOR A REASON, and another negative review to add to the list....didn't understand WHAT I was asking for, but knew how to say, 'THURDEE DOLLA' though....the AUDACITY of it all!!!

It's an ok salon if your in a pinch and need a nail appointment. I've had varying results with acrylic nails from this salon.

Less *than 2 weeks I went to this Davi Nails in Walmart. With the quarantine I was so anxious to get a mani/pedi. My natural nails grows long so I don't use fake nails. On this occasion my left thumb nail was broken so I decided to get one fake nail with the instruction that I don't want it thick. I also decided to get gel polish which I only use when I'm getting ready to travel. I told her twice tho continue shaving it down. It was still too thick. (See pic of mani/pedi 2 weeks later) I'm not complaining about my natural nails please understand that. This tech table #5 did a lousy job. Not going back. This is my 2nd complaint about the techs here but it's walking distance from my place. Thank his I have a car to drive to Timbuctoo if necessary. No shine to the gel polish. I didn't get the color I chose but it wasn't worth arguing over. $65 down the drain. Watch where you spend your money.

This shop located inside of Walmart use to be very good with good service. Unfortunately, most of the best people, mostly the men, left and went to other shops. The new management sucks and the nail techs are all leaving. To each time I go there there are new faces. The service is so god awful. The techs rush to get you out the chair. Within a day of a pedicure it seems as if I didn't just have one. I think that the convenience of the location keep bringing back a few of us. Unfortunately, I'm going there again today only because it's 3 mins away from me. But this will be the last chance I give them.
