I've been here a handful of times. There aren't many places to get a haircut around here as you know, so I've taken my husband when they've had an opening. The owner DJ is pretty nice, as for the other stylists we have tried to give them a chance but the overall atmosphere of this business seems uninviting. I guess if you get established with one you like it could be a fine experience but if you've never been here (or only a few times) it seems pretty unwelcoming. Google hours of operation is incorrect and 8 times out of 10 I don't get an answer if I call. Haircut was fine. One stylist nicked my husbands head in multiple spots and was pretty rough. Haven't been back. 2 stars.
Donna RUINED my hair and I haven't been so unhappy in over 30 years. SHE SHAVED OFF HALF THE HAIR OFF THE BACK OF MY HEAD to the skin! Then didn't layer the rest of the hair or anything. I can't imagine such a thing since I've shown the same picture to countless hairstylists and made the same exact comments and never had such a thing happen! After showing the same picture I always use and repeated that I want my hair to look thicker. She thought that 'clipped short in the back' meant I wanted my hair shaved to the skin up 5" the back of my head! The rest of the hair hangs down over it like dumb and dumber haircut. It looks ridiculous and in no way looks like the photo It will be half a year or more before I can get this grown to where it can be cut right. The only reason there are two stars is she offered to cut my hair for free till it's fixed. A terrifying prospect looking at my hair now.
These people are talented, caring and THEY GIVE BACK. They really help people who can't afford it. Support them.
