Cuts by Us in Mobile, AL

Went in for a simple haircut, just a trim and to get my hair framed to my face. Nikki was awesome! Great job and great service :)

Everything written is just my opinion and what I saw while being with my at this place.

The wife has gone here a few times and thought they did a good job. But she has gotten into coloring her hair a very bold color. She decided to see if she could get them to do the job for her and brought along a box of the dye. She knew they may or may not be able to use what she brought in, and that was fine and maybe they would have something close. The first lady looked at her and said you know that this is basically fabric dye? She then called another employee over who said by using that type of dye, none of our dyes will properly work and I am not comfortable using a bleach on your hair..... The dye she brought in clearly said no bleach hair dye kit.

Neither were very friendly in my opinion and the wife just figured they just didn't want to do the job.

She went to to another salon and told them what happened. The lady laughed a little and said we can't use someone elses dye, but that is not fabric dye and I have no idea where that thought comes from. She then showed my wife a color that closely matched. She bleached her hair and did a very thorough job of applying color. The wife was beyond pleased.

I have always been picky about who cuts my hair...Well my old hair dresser was just too far away after we had moved, and I was also looking for a place that was open on a Sunday. My husband and daughter always went to Cuts By Us, so I figured I'd give them a try. The first thing I asked when I walked in is if they were any good with curly hair. They said yes, and they weren't lying. . Celeste cut my hair EXACTLY like I wanted it. She was super easy to talk to and I didn't feel rushed or out of place. Totally professional place and the prices are really good! I went back to Celeste to have my color done and I've referred everyone I can think of to go. It's pretty awesome when you can take your whole family to one place to get their hair done!  I would recommend anyone to go see her or ck them out!  I'll be going back for another cut soon!  Thanks you guys!!

I had a horrible experience last week with an older man by the name of louie vial or vlal. I was alone in the salon with him and a mid aged man with a beard that I guess worked there immediately when I got in the chair he starts pushing his big old belly into me and was so close he was literally breathing on me. so I immediately   I scooted forward. It was inappropriate. and he meant it to be. I did not know what to do but I was disgusted by him, he started touching my hair all weird like running his fingers through my hair. I just wanted out of there but having my sons military graduation to attend- I really needed to get my hair fixed, His demeanor was creepy the whole time and at the end he did not charge me- but asked for a hug instead, I was so scared realizing it was just me alone there I gave him a pat on the back and moved toward the front of the salon where the windows were. Worse of all I contacted corporate without a response. I told them it was all on the surveillance cameras. them fearing a sexual harassment law suit I'm guessing deleted the video as what else am I suppose to believe at this point. It's to bad b/c prior to this I had a great gal named celeste cut my hair and she was great. now I feel I cannot go back to the salon due to telling on this weirdo. what happened was completely inappropriate. I just hope there are not other women or children whom are not reporting this person. I learned I will never let a man cut my hair ever again, unless he is gay.

I was hating on my hair and happened to walk past this Cuts By Us on my way to Publix. Sign said walk ins welcome so I walked in. 30 minutes later I was walking out with rockin hair. I regret not getting the name of the stylist because she did a great job, got my hair all trimmed up and looking good. It was just what I needed-and fast without spending a lot.
