When asked what I needed done today I said a trim; instead I was practically shaved on the back of my head all the way up to the top of my head. It looks like a 1950's crew cut!!! I specifically said 2 and 1/2 inch length on the CROWN of my head, figuring that EVERYONE knew what the crown of the head was. I even indicated where I wanted it to start tapering down. I also asked for a fringe at the bottom back of my head so it wouldn't look like a man-cut. Guess what I got - a squared off MAN-CUT! I have no idea what I did to make this girl do everything I asked her NOT to do! Never tip until you ask to have a mirror so you can look at the back of your head.
I will not be returning to this location no matter how many free cuts they offer - it's not worth the embarrassment I'll go through!
I showed the woman cutting my hair exactly what it is i wanted, in the form of a high resolution picture with a 75-degree angle on the hairstyle, with my phone at full brightness. Easy to follow right? Apparently not. Because instead of getting a korean-style bowl cut, i got some jock-ish gross haircut. Definitely going to wear a wig for the next few weeks/months. This isnt the only time this has happened either, ive gotten this exact haircut twice before.
I was extremely disappointed with my visit. It cost me $75 for color that I don't like and didn't want and $15 for the worst haircut. The stylist didn't talk to me (except to explain to me that my hair is a mess), didn't offer a magazine or drink for the two and a half hours I was there. I was uncomfortable being in the salon and didn't think the people were very professional.
