Cierra is an amazing artist! I LOVE living in this area - but if I'm being completely honest, it doesn't have everything I need or desire in the food / fashion / art scene. I was nervous when I first moved here if I would have to travel far for a great cut. And then I met Cierra. She is passionate about her work! She knows how to listen well while offering her non-pushy professional advice. Cierra keeps up to date and continues her education which makes me excited to have her as my stylist!! I can go on and on .. but Cierra + Co and her new salon addition The Hive seriously feed my soul.

I've been going to Cierra for about 6 years. I found her when I was struggling to find a way to look my middle aged self but not look old. My curly hair was a frizzy mess and my grey was to a point I couldn't cover it myself anymore. My husband knew Ciera and set up our first "chair date" and I've been going to her ever since. She didn't just cut, color and style, she listened to my frustrations showed me how to tame the hair and she is such fun to chat with every few weeks. You won't be disappointed!

I don't have enough words to describe Cierra! Intuitive, caring, artistic, downright LOVELY. I first met Cierra about 4 years ago when I was looking for a Hair & Makeup Artist for my wedding. I had a good idea of what I wanted, but Cierra took my dream wedding look and enhanced it 10 fold. She trekked though wind/torrential rain and mud to show up on my wedding day at 4:00AM to start her work. All with a happy, easy going attitude that helped put all the nerves at ease, WHICH IS SO IMPORTANT. Cierra has been doing my hair since then and I will never see anyone else. Behind the chair, she IS the perfect stylist. I have a hard time being able to articulate what I am looking for, but she always guides me through it and it has helped a TON. I have trusted her to play with highlights in my hair (which I have never let anyone else do, for fear of not being able to stick to my true color) and she absolutely kills it! She helps me stay true to my red, but also have fun with it! SHE IS THE BEST PEOPLE.

Cierra is a pure delight! She is hands down one of the most talented and creative hairstylist. Her artistry and passion for her work radiates through in all her cuts, balayage's, highlights and colors! She has a calming, relaxing space and gives undivided one-on-one attention to each and every client. (A luxury that is getting more and more rare these days.) With a skilled hand, Cierra expertly cut my curly hair. It is hands down one of the best cuts I have ever received! She is a certified Deva Cut stylist and believe me when I say you can fully trust that you are in the hands of an experienced artist. She does AMAZING color work! I wanted a natural looking blended balayage and she more than exceeded my expectation, it's truly a work of art. I can't recommend her enough!

Update: Alina moved to American Beauty down Pleasant Valley. I moved from Sacramento a few years ago, but hit barely found a place in my area a few months ago. If you're reading this, you care about who touches your hair and so probably understand why it took me so long to make the change. The hairstylist relationship is just that - a relationship. One doesn't just move on just because of a little distance. Alas, a few years later, and I found Alina at House of Beaute. WORTH EVERY PENNY. I have long hair and a stylist I am not. So, I really need someone that know how to cut hair. Really knows it. And she does. She took her time with me. I never felt rushed and the result is the best haircut I've ever had. But I'm not surprised. Alina has a lot of experience. She opened Space 07 in Sacramento and has been doing hair for a long time. She was on her way to Continuing Education that week, so she's up on the trends. Such an important trait nowadays. Highly, highly recommend.
