I used to come to this place for about 10 years. They used to be so amazing and now all they do is take advantage or you.  First, if you make an appointment they don't actually get you in on time. The last three times I came here they were anywhere from 40-60 minutes behind schedule. I can understand a random situation, but it's always like this. Second, they charge almost double of what they used to and give you no warning. Today I got a fill with a matte finish. I didn't have any broken nails and it was an easy job. They charged me $60 and said the extra $30 was for the matte color. I would say it's a fluke but a similar situation happened last time. On top of that, 4 nail beds were cut and bleeding and my hands hurt. I'm over this place.

My two friends and I were having a tough time finding a nail salon available for all of us within a few days, so we decided to try walking in to some local spots. La Vie Salon turned us away, so we tried Classy Nails right when they opened.

The ladies there at first told us they had appointments coming in but then decided to squeeze us in. Their appointments unfortunately came in early, so I knew that the whole experience was going to be rushed. I was very thankful that they took us, but I had a gut feeling to just leave. I should've listened to my gut and not my friends.

This was the first time I'd ever had dip done, and I was more excited for the manicure as my fingers were starting to hurt as it had been a couple months since my last. Unfortunately, the lady working on me starting doing the dip right away without trimming my cuticles or doing any of the typical maintenance. I was confused, but didn't want to ask since they were already rushing and stressing. I left without any real manicure, just the dip. FYI -- they dip your finger directly into the container which doesn't seem like it would be hygienic.

I don't know how much it cost my friend as I had to leave for work. I was pleased with the color, but the nail thickness was too much. A Dremel was not used to thin it out, so every time I tried to open a can or do anything with my nails, I couldn't do it. After two+ weeks, the backs of the dips were peeling up, so it would catch and rip my hair every time I washed it or touched it or pulled it back.

Since then, I went back to another salon because I couldn't take ripping out my hair another day. They showed me how the process really should be done and also did a complete manicure beforehand.

IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD. So I came in for a simple acrylic nail take off. First one woman said $15, then I sat down and the man doing my nails said he would honor $10 as the nail place down the street said they would do it for cheaper. He proceeds to roughly as all HECK remove my nails. Then destroyssssss my thumb nail and I start bleeding like crazy. They proceed to ALL come over (3 of the nail techs) and tell me if I didn't want him to do remove my nails roughly with other new plastic nails (their method for grown out nails.. they take new plastic nails and use it to slide under the old nails and pretty much slice it off of your finger . It works best for old nails as they come off easier than newer nails with this method, which mine clearly were not... mine were only a week old ) that I should have ASKED for them to be soaked first... as if I knew that was even an option. When I asked them why NO ONE told me that was an option, they said I should have known my self and this was my own fault. And they REITERATED this to me multiple times.. each of them said it and I said I had never been offered that before so how was I to know.... and they each rolled their eyes and walked away... while my finger is bleeding and the rest of my nails still have black polish on them, the man says I'm done. I said no I am not, there is still polish all over my nails: he LAUGHS and then buffs the rest off which only took a few seconds. The nail ladies and him say my nail will recover in a few days and shame me yet again for the state of my nail. I have been getting my nails done for almost 15 years and this is the FIRST time in my life that I have ever left a review in a nail salon. I cannot even find the right words to explain how much pain I am in and how upset I am. I will be posting photos on YELP

P.S. when I mentioned fear of getting an infection because of how much blood there was and how no one was cleaning it up or sanitizing me, he laughed and then again when he said soaking would have been more efficient but would have taken a longer time (his reasoning for not OFFERING ME the soak option (wtf), I said that would have been WAY more my choice and that i would have been 100% ok with it taking longer (we had already only been sitting for 5 minutes Max maybe like BIG DEAL), then I said if it had been offered to me over his method i would have agreed so I wouldn't get an infection...then he LAUGHED AGAIN. I am in soooo much pain :(((( a hang nail is for SURE on the horizon

P.S.S i did not end up paying because finally the gentleman says ok fine bc you are bleeding you don't pay...... me: ummmm i shouldn't pay for soo many reasons at this point but ok I'll take it ?

P.S.S.S. The rest if my nails look like trash regardless of my thumb. Zoom in on pics if you don't believe me.
