Virginia Ann is THE BEST. She always does amazing with my blonde and cut!! Very knowledgeable and meticulous with the whole process. I learned the hard way, before her, that not every cosmetologist knows how to do blonde properly. If you want someone that knows how to do hair the correct way, she's your girl!! I highly recommend her

WORST CUT/COLOR EVER!  I can't speak for the quality of cuts/colors for other stylists but I got second to the worst style of my life here from Pam.

First no hair history was taken, she used straight bleach and developer on my already processed hair (something NO ONE has ever done...  At least mix it with conditioner so it's not damaging!), No color swatches were offered so I trusted her 20 years of experience (Never again, just because someone's worked that long doesn't mean their good). Then she let it over process producing hair breakage (Again something that has never ever been a problem for me, I have very healthy hair something she even commented on prior to coloring my hair) and a grey/silver color on my roots and a pink undertone.  She blamed the blow dryer for the breakage, when I could run my hands through my wet hair and pull a handful of broken pieces out.

Then the hair cut started, I wanted a trim of the same cut a came in with, because I didn't want to have a new stylist to me botch it.  I told her I don't style my hair, I like it low maintenance.  Well what I received was something that absolutely needs to be styled, or I need to cut 6 inches off to a Bob because she put long layers in, something I specifically did not want.  I wanted framing around the face and a stepped cut.  I now have long layers all the way around that are a good 4-5 inches shorter than the rest of my hair.  So add the cost of a blow dryer, flatiron, and my self-esteem to the cost of the hair cut.

This is turning into a long review, but she also dropped a number of clips on the floor and then used them in my hair!  Without disinfecting!  Can you say gross!

After 3 hours I left with something I could have done better myself at home.  I did come back to have her put a toner in to get rid of the silver crown she gave me.  She was apologetic that I had to come back in.  Asked about the cut, which I did tell her was fine because I was not going to trust her to do anything else.  The proof is in the pudding and the pudding SUCKS.  Makes me want to cry every time I wear my hair down.  Being new to the area from a bigger city (my salon was Gene Juarez), I went with the only place that had a positive review...  From now on I will be driving 3 hours one way to get my hair done at a city Aveda.  When you only cut/color every 4-6 months you can't afford mistakes like this.

Also prior to my appointment I asked about facial waxing, (which I was told they don't do, the girl that answered the phone thought I meant a facial) when I got to the appointment I asked if they had an esthetician, she told me no and I proceeded to talk about waxing at home, then she said they did have a wax pot and did do waxing.  I'm not from NC, so I don't know if you need to be a licensed esthetician to rip someone's hair out, prior to this experience I assumed you did.

Bottom line, No I do not recommend.
