I was so pleased when my granddaughter enrolled this year because it has been her heart's desire to pursue this profession for at least 2 years. But after paying the $18,000 for the program, I am so sad to hear that most of the educators have no more knowledge than she does. Her training so far has been very dismal. I only hope it will get better. I would implore the director of this Academy to really examine your educators and hire ones who will really be an asset.
My wife took my son here for a trim and it took almost an hour and a half for what is arguably the worst hair cut I've ever seen. Unfortunately it was the instructor who cut it. So, potential customers RUN and potential enrollees go somewhere else unless you want to learn how to absolutely butcher a simple trim. I'm beyond pissed and now my wife is trying to make it look presentable before school in the morning! Please do EVERYONE a favor and close your doors or fire miss Epperson or both.
My husband and I had pedicures with paraffin wax. It is half the cost of Oasis but keep in mind, it is a school. When booking your appointment, checking in & having your appointment remember they are still students & you are going to need a lot of patience.
They didn't really know how to double book, it was the first pedicure this student had done, and it took alot longer than normal because they had to stop & ask a lot of questions.
If you have extra time and don't mind the learning curve it was worth the 50% discount.
Also, don't forget to tip well, you can tell they are trying hard to do well.
