What used to be a 4 is now a 2.5. This is my opinion over several visits. When I first started coming here a couple years ago, the pedicures were great. The salon seems clean and majority of staff is friendly.
However, the last three pedicures have been almost unpleasant experiences and seemed to really go downhill. Today, my pedicurist was rushed (even though there's no wait) and super rough. He was literally filing my skin and the nail and even rubbing the hot stones on my ankle bones?!! Dude... that hurts. The massager in the chair was broken too which is the saddest.
And let's all be honest, is it even a real pedicure without getting rid of the callouses? That's my whole reason for coming Disappointing and overpriced experience for $45... definitely time to find a new place.
Edit: I asked about the callous issue on my way out and one of the ladies kindly redid that part. If you want the stainless steel callous remover, you have to ask for it! That redeemed the visit somewhat! If I return, I'll definitely be asking for only Jane or Alma.
I brought my two 16 year old cousins in to get gel manicures and the guy told us to take a seat. Multiple women walked in after us without appointments and were seen before us and they were getting the same services. After about 45 minutes I asked the guy how much longer it would be and he said another 30 minutes. He was very rude and treated us like we were children because we were young, thinking we wouldn't tip. I don't appreciate being judged and treated like this. We left and didn't even get an apology. We will not be coming back after that kind of undeserved treatment.
I've been here twice and come away happy both times. I had a shellac manicure and my eyebrows waxed each time. They don't rush and pay attention to detail. They inside looks nice and clean.
My daughter and I went to get our nails done. I had a pedicure and she had a pedicure and a shellac manicure. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the salon. They use the bags for the chairs and all supplies appeared new or sterilized in a little kit. I had a French pedicure which I was pleased with. She even took care of my ingrown toe nail. You'd be surprised how many people miss that.
My daughter was also pleased with her pedicure. The manicurist was attentive to detail and made sure to get the outside edge of her nail which many miss (which leads to the shellac peeling off not long after). All in all its a good, clean nail salon.
