Cho On Main Salon & Boutique in Lexington, SC

Went in to get balayage, that's not what I got. Stylist was not paying any attention to my hair while under the dryer. I thought it was too hot so I removed myself from the dryer to find liquid coming out of the foils she put in my hair. It was running all over my clothes and my arms glad I was not wearing anything nice.  I had to go find her in the break room to let her know the foils were leaking.From that moment I was very concerned something was wrong and that the bleach had stayed on too long. Which when she went to wash my hair that became clear. She could not even brush my hair out. And while trying too with conditioner in was very painful and difficult. I told her my head was sore from the dryer being hot and she was like oh I have never heard that before. I finished brushing out my hair so she would not destroy the rest of it. She then ask if I wanted to leave with it wet like she knew she had messed it up. I stayed to let her dry it and refused to let her cut it or try to style it because I knew my hair was in fragile shape. I am now having to spend more money to go have the color corrected.

I had an appointment with Kristene I had made a few weeks ago for Monday at 10:30. As a mom of toddlers it is very rare that I'm able to get out of my house to do something for myself. My husband had taken a late shift at work to make sure I'd be able to go to this appointment. I drove 40 minutes to my appointment only to arrive with the doors locked and the lights off. I called four times and left voicemails and nobody came to the door. I looked inside and all the lights were off and nobody was in there by 10:49 I called again to let them know I was very disappointed that nobody answered my phone calls or showed up to my appointment and I wasted 40 minute trip each way to get stood up by a hairstylist. This morning I get a voicemail saying that she was there the whole day and must not have heard me at the door and asked if I would reschedule. I find it very hard to believe that she didn't check the door not ONCE within the first 20 minutes of my appointment time that I was outside if she was there. That she didn't hear one of my phone calls or voicemails if she was there. And that she was sitting in the dark if she was there. I feel like I'm being lied to and that she just didn't show up for the appointment. Never going back here again. She didn't even apologize just said I had a misunderstanding cuz she was "there the whole time"

I got my haircut here on Saturday. I've been growing it out.  So just a trim.  It's a really cool boutique right there on Main Street lots of cool clothes and decor.   Kristine cut my hair .  She was great.  Very professional  , friendly and knowledgeable.  And offered advice and recommendations on my hair care. The other staff members were very cool.  The place was really clean and had a really nice atmosphere.   I was very happy with my cut. Kristine did a terrific job .  Highly recommend.

I have not been to Cho's for several years because the person that I went to does not work there now. I looked great when I left, haircuts, hairlights and the way it was styled. I would give anything to have that look again.

It is not cheap to work there having to pay for a booth and trying to get regular customers established. Saw the review below, is just awful. I never had that kind of experience. So sorry for that lady.

Please do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to go. Look at the pictures and you'll see what $300 buys you here. Oh and yes, that's supposed to be "balayage" fml. Thank you Susan.

Oh and I sent her these pictures and explained why I was dissatisfied and she didn't see anything wrong with it... ‍. Her only response was reschedule online so we can fix it. Do you really think I'm going to go back to a person who can't see what they did wrong so they can screw my hair up some more and waste even more of my time? I'll take the loss on this one. Lesson learned.  

So yea, if you're bored and want to blow a few hours and a few hundred dollars, by all means go to Cho on Main.
