Recently, I went into the small hair salon to get my hair bleached. The process was expected to take a long time, however what made it take even longer was because the lady doing my hair was working on my hair and another lady's. After a good long while of waiting for someone to wash my hair, finally a different lady had to do it.
The water was very hot.
However, the final result was fantastic, and better than I expected.
The salon attracts mostly people over the age of 50+, and not more than 3 people really are in the salon at a time, so it's pretty quiet, besides the fact that the employees are very noisy.
Overall, my experience was okay, but could be better.
The location itself was not updated and not the cleanest, I have hair that is about 4 inches past my shoulders so not very long. I went in and asked for a 1.5 inch trim and a shampoo. The hair cut went okay besides the rushing. I was maybe in the chair for 20 minutes including the wash and blow dry. They had the audacity to charge me a extra 10 dollar "long hair fee". I would understand this charge if I were getting color or highlights but for a trim it just doesn't make any sense. I ended up paying 40 dollars just to get my hair trimmed and it wasn't even a great cut. I know I should've went to a nice salon but I didn't have the 45 dollars. Well in the end I paid it anyway so just save your time and money and go elsewhere.
