Went blonde for the first time at this salon. I came in with medium brown hair and somehow went platinum blonde in under 45 minutes. My hair started breaking off and I had to cut it. Also, the women that work there talk about people like they're in high school.
The gal's are friendly and is a great place to get a haircut. I high recommend Olivia. She's the best.
Obvious disconnect between the person who booked our appointments and the stylists working that day. We showed up thinking we were getting a blow-dry and style. Exactly as written on the services menu. But our stylists (who were very nice) said the ticket only said "shampoo," and there was no time in the schedule to blow-dry or style our hair. So it was expected that we were going to pay $20 to have our hair shampooed (only) and we are going to leave the salon with wet hair? Very bizarre. There needs to be better communication between the people booking appointments, the stylists, and the customers to ensure that everyone is on the same page.
I made appointments for me and my sister to get a wash and blowout. We were in town to attend a wedding later that day. The woman who I spoke to on the phone didn't sound very confident as she scheduled us. I asked multiple times that our appts would be for an hour long, that an hour would be enough time to wash and dry/style hair, and that we would be seen simultaneously. The phone lady assured me of all. I will note that she did mention that they were very busy with weddings and graduations that weekend.

My sister was asking if she could curl her hair after she dried it, and the stylist responded that she didn't have time. She then told my sister that her appt was for 30 mins and all the slip said was "shampoo". I went to speak with the lady at the front desk and I expressed what the phone lady had assured me of multiple times, an hour long appt with wash and style, for each of us.
Needless to say, we did not stay for our appts. We weren't going to pay someone to wash our hair for us, not even blow dry it afterwards. I was very angry about all of this, and I do feel bad that I took it out on the stylist and receptionist, because I really doubt either were to blame. But I do think they need to make sure the staff knows what they are scheduling, how long each service takes, and that they confirm their appts. We wasted an hour of our time driving to the salon and back home. We both wished we would've known they overbooked themselves, then we could have made the time to do our own hair.
