i forgot to cancel an appointment, just received a call, i have a life outside of getting nails. i will no longer be going to this salon again. i was treated like shit by michelle because i forgot to cancel my nail appointment(10 minutes past my appointment) claiming it was unfair. when every time i went in there, people were walking in. they always did my nails amazingly, but based on this interaction i do not recommend.
I have been going here on and off for years and unfortunately will not be returning. This was my first visit since covid and first time with Ngan. I had an appointment and still waited 40 minutes and after waiting 40 min an employee came out from the back and sat at his booth just staring at me and Ngan finished with another client and took me. She was not personable at all or accommodating to my request for shorter nails. The polish brush was leaving clumps on my nails and she just said the top coat would cover it. She didn't do enough coats so you can see the brush marks of the color where she missed spots, and got polish on the skin of most fingers. Their covid protocols are very well marked but they are not following them. One employee didn't have a mask on walking throughout salon and i didn't see them disinfect anything while there or between clients. Also very over priced for getting just gel, I didn't get any hand massage or lotion at all! I have seen Michelle and another worker there before and they are top notch and very personable! Was very disappointed in the experience today.
I got my nails done here, they told me I couldn't get what I asked for and within a week they had chipped and one is broken. I don't recommend!
I cracked a toe nail--it was super tender and I needed a polish change and my nail needed some TLC. They got me right in...the spa pedi was just OK. I had designs on my nails--which I prefer always--and when my nails were repaired and repainted--I was never asked if I wanted a design...which seemed strange. They were not busy--so it seemed odd. I would have even opted for a manicure--if they'd just asked!!! So--mixed bag...SUPER GRATEFUL for getting me in immediately...but the service was underwhelming. Maybe because I am not a regular??? Whatever the reason-- it only give 3 stars.
I've been a CT customer for five years and always love coming here for a spa pedicure and sometimes I'll add a manicure. The prices are great and I feel the work is fantastic. I like chatting with the women that work there. They are always pleasant and smiling and really try to get to know you. It's clean and comfortable and I recommend it.
