Many beauty salons experience peak traffic on weekends, especially on Saturday mornings and afternoons. Weekday evenings can also be particularly busy as clients tend to schedule post-work appointments. Booking in advance is always advised, but if you're seeking a less bustling environment, you can inquire with Boom Swagger Salon about their quieter hours.
I was able to get in on a cancellation with Amanda. She is amazing. The salon has a great vibe. Loving my hair, it has been months since I have had it done. This is a great place.
Dismissive staff, had to correct to the dresser constantly and spent almost an hour cutting my own hair afterward to correct how lopsided it was. charges too much, really no reason to go here.
I can't believe people said this is a good salon for curly hair. I was told I was seeing one of their curly hair specialists. She had no idea of what a dry cut was. When I left it looked like I had a pyramid on my head. When she "fixed" it. She cut it so short that she actually shaved the back of my neck. If you have curly hair - steer clear of this place
Aperantly during the pandemic they don't dry and stylist your hair (which they mentioned during cutting). So I paid $66 plus tip for a 30 minutes haircut. They check a temperature and require to wear a mask which is awesome.
Overall really disappointed
I was a client for years when i was 20 minutes late for my last appt and they said no way. I asked if there were any openings over the next 2 days as i was moving out of town on day 3. With all of their stylists, they said no. I have spent thousands there on products and services. Maybe because I'm leaving town, they didn't care. Lame.
