Bombshells Salon Knox in Knoxville, TN

McKenzie always gives me what I ask for. I've been seeing her close to two years. She is very accommodating to scheduling appointments as well. She is friendly, upbeat, and personable to her clients. She always has a smile on her face and is happy to take on whatever idea I want to try with my hair. She never complains when I want to change or do anything different.

Had a great first time experience and my hair looks amazing  it's healthier looking and my stylist Lauren Nicole was just lovely

If I could put zero stars I would.  I went in for a consultation first.  We decided on a plan. I was prepared with pictures of what I wanted.  I showed her.  That wasn't enough though.  She kept asking questions.  That was fine I have never had my hair professionally colored before.  I am a brunette looking to go blonde.  She did tell me that would take time.  Fine I don't want to fry my hair.  But even the style of the highlights after she finished was no where close to the pictures I showed her.  They don't blend.  On most parts they are a straight line.  The money piece in the front that I specifically asked for higher highlights in the back so I didn't look like a 16 yr who  had bleached their bangs looks like a botched home job.  They are choppy and hideous. I have done better on myself.  Honestly the before and after pics don't really look hugely different on the bottom which is supposed to be all blonde but she left out so much of my hair it looks muddied.  I am ready to get a box dye and just go back to brunette I am so livid. Definitely a waste of money.  I even signed a paper she wrote notes on the day of the consultation because I clearly thought before I went in there today that we understood each other.  Not even close.  i am absolutely devastated. I don't even want to leave my house. The more I look at it the angrier I actual get.  I can't even put it in a ponytail cause it looks like a teenager did it at home.  This is the absolute worst $300 spent ever. It isn't even close to as many highlights as I discussed with her or as high up my head. There is no way this would be blonde even by spring.

Relocated to the area. Needless to say I had a horrible experience at this salon.  I suppose my mistake was when I initially asked to schedule an appointment the reception asked me how much I wanted to pay to have my hair done.  Now I know this is a Red flag.  I responded with I usually pay $250 from my prior long term stylist.  So they booked me and I saw a young lady who was nice but seemed nervous and talked a lot.  She proceeded to high lite my hair.  Once processed I was moved to the wash area.  Foils removed and washed and then stylist took off and left me leaning back into bowl.  After 10-15 minutes I got my camera out and took photos of my hair.  I had over processed streaks in to.  Another girl came over and said my stylist was in back speaking to a more seasoned stylist about my hair.  WTH my hair was toned and I've never had my hair toned.  I paid and left.  Not thrilled with hair but later I tried again and it was another mess of a treatment.  I have spent several months now working with someone to get my hair back to what I'm used to.  Honestly, I should be refunded for the money i spent in Bombshells.  Terrible experience.  What a BOMB!

We are brand new to Knoxville and Tennessee in general--so I was skeptical and a little worried to try a new hair stylist.

I had gone on Bombshells website Tuesday, just HOPING to get an appointment for Wednesday.
I did in fact, an 8am one, which was Perfect.
I also, amazingly got an appointment with one of the educators, Racheal. She was fabulous! Super nice.

I told her I want to cover my grays and keep the length, since I'm getting married in October, but other than that, she could do whatever she thought would look good.

She updated my balayage, covered my grays, did a glaze and color melt along with a trim.

I am incredibly glad that I tried out this salon and I will DEFINITELY be back. I left with amazing smelling and looking hair and couldn't be happier!!
