My hairdresser was amazing and definitely safe and clean during all of the Covid things!! And the salon is so pretty also!

I called the day of needing a haircut, and was still able to be paired with an amazing stylist. Nancy listened to my hair concerns (my hair being naturally curly, I've had a lot of previously bad experience with hair professionals), checked in with me as needed, and made me feel like an old friend throughout the entire process! Great place to go, easy to access, and overall great staff. I can't wait to be back there, and would HIGHLY recommend this place to any of my friends!

The one star is for the salon management. I have been a customer at Bella Sophia with two different stylists/cosmetologists over the years. The location is convenient and though the parking lot is assigned spaces, I never had any trouble finding a spot. The salon itself is clean and well-maintained. Like a few other places in town, this salon operates as an umbrella organization where each room is run independently. In the almost three years I have been a customer at Bella Sophia, however, I have observed the owner behave in a manner that at best, could be described as intrusive, and at worst, disturbingly entitled and unprofessional. I have witnessed her treating the women who work at her salon with an incredible lack of respect. She has a habit of barging into appointments and generally behaving with a lack of boundaries and self-awareness. Her demeanor over the years has struck me as odd, but as stylists left in waves I began to realize that the high turn-over is because the work environment at Bella Sophia is hostile and toxic. If you're like me, I come to a salon to relax and be with women who treat each other as equals and with kindness. After the behavior I have witnessed by the management here, all I can say is that I hope the stylists who have tolerated this unprofessional and abusive behavior know that their artistry is appreciated. I hope they see this review and know that as a customer, I saw what was happening there and now wish I had done more to intervene.

I got my hair done by Shea at this salon today. She is the best, easy to contact her on her business Facebook (Onlee1MzSheaBraidz) or you can call the salon and ask for her number. She did super long smaller box braids on me today. She is very professional and so is the salon. It's clean and nice inside the salon. Each stylist is in a separate small room. It did take a long time for my hair to get done, which is normal for the style I got. It took about 10 hours. I am so happy with the final result, it's beautiful.

Ask for Dina she is amazing. I've never been dissatisfied. I got a really botched haircut at another salon and she saved my hair. The prices are very reasonable. I've been going to her for a couple of years now.
