Blush Dry Bar Salon in Colorado Springs, CO

I have successfully used Blush several times for formal events and loved what they did with my hair and makeup every time. I highly recommend - plus you can't beat the salon's chic atmosphere and the friendly staff!

However, this time it was for my Retro 60s birthday party and I needed the final product to be a flashback and downright flashy. Lindsey did my hair perfectly from a photo I showed her of Ariana Grande's retro look. So much so, that the bumpit/beehive effect was still legit after a night of sleeping. I could have gone to another party! Brandi did a marvelous job on my makeup as well. She is the best and always makes me look so good. She flawlessly executed the vintage look too. Plus the makeup and lashes last for so long. I never wanted the party to end!

I would love to use them for every event and suggest you do too!

A last minute impulse to have my hair done for my bday.    Went on line, reserved my appointment.    Arrived 10 minutes early, limited parking.   Entered the establishment with my daughter to not being greeted.   The front desk is approximately 10 feet from the entrance in direct sight of the entrance.  We stood at the front counter, where an employee stood, her stance was sideways NOT with her back to us.  As the employee continued to engage with her cellphone walked away, and spoke with another coworker in our line of site.   Both the employees talked, still not greeting us, keep in mind we were a straight shot in front of them.  I read there price list for drinks.  In all my years I have never paid for a glass of wine in a salon.  We finally grabbed the attention of the employees.  The staff member asked if I had an appointment, searched it up and could not find my reservation.  There were three employees that I saw and only one customer in the salon chair.  As we walked to exit she stated she could see if they could fit me in.  I stated if you don't have time to greet someone when it's the slow, I don't have time to be treated poorly.

I just participated in a Blush make up class.  First, Blush is a beautiful salon.  You feel special just walking in to it's warm, welcoming and pretty atmosphere.  The class instruction was excellent.  They provided signature cocktails and other sparkling and still choices, yummy appetizers and sweet treats.  I would highly recommend taking a class at Blush on South Tejon Street! I am definitely planning to sign up for another class!

I went to a makeup class for holiday looks and it was super fun and I learned so much. I highly recommend going in and meeting the professionals at Blush!!
