I have been going to this salon for a couple of years now.  Mary is a great stylist and she does great color based solely on our discussion about what I wanted.  The salon is clean, and they are taking Covid 19 very seriously.  I highly recommend this salon.

The ladies over at Blush are nothing short of phenomenal.  They are highly educated, always striving to be better and do more, and create an experience for their clients like no other.  The owner, Elizabeth, strives for perfection and you can see it in their tremendous product offerings, cleanliness, style, and quality.  I send many of my bridal clients here, and am constantly referring friends here for hair services.  This is definitely the best salon in the Lewiston/Auburn and surrounding areas.

I recently moved back to the area after living in California for years. My hair is baby fine and I find it difficult to find a competent stylist that understands my hair. I booked an appointment for a haircut only and went in after work. Sam was my stylist and she's awesome. Very sweet young lady with a great attitude. She listened to what I wanted and was very informative so I didn't end up with a style I would be unhappy with. She also did not rush me thru my appointment. Sam took the time to discuss what I do and don't like. I walked in a bit apprehensive, and walked out very happy and confident I've found a permanent salon and stylist. The interior is stylish and very well maintained and immediately upon entering I was offered a beverage. Their customer service is excellent. Note: I did go online and put in my info for an apt to be texted but never got a text so I recommend calling and making an apt over the phone. I was even able to get a same day haircut apt.

First off, let me start by saying this place has great service, products, and was extremely clean. My stylist was super friendly, and my visit was good. The reasoning behind my 2 stars is that I left with my hair subpar. I went about a month ago. I did a lot of research into where I wanted to get my hair done as it had been years since it had been done professionally. I finally booked an appointment here after seeing rave reviews and photos of their work. They've done amazing things! I was super excited, and like I said, my experience was great. HOWEVER. I went from bleach blonde hair, asking them to dye it light ash brown blended with a mildly darker root. It was a huge change for me, but nothing out of the ordinary. It was a common color. Which I wanted. I was very adamant about my hair not being grey or silver, as I wanted to look professional and something low maintenance. I was extremely tedious about saying I wanted brown and not grey, just cooler tones (as I know ashy can sometimes be grey) she seemed to understand and went to work on my roots. The root color was beautiful, I loved it, but it didn't blend into the rest of the color. My biggest thing is that the rest of my hair not only came out extremely grey, but turned purple later that day! I really wanted light brown hair and a blended root, and ended up with  grey and purple hair that I really didn't want.  I think the reasoning for the color is that I noticed she didn't use  dye on the majority of my hair, (only the roots) but just toner, and really overtoned it. I left the salon happy because I hadn't seen the full extent of what had been done. It looked great when I was there! So that's where I'm confused. I was super disappointed when I got home and got a decent look in the mirror and saw exactly what I hadn't asked for. I totally understand if a salon messes up your hair, it happens and it can't always be perfect. We are all only human, and I get it, not all days will be good. And I also know you're supposed to let them know and ask them to fix it. But I honestly didn't want them to touch it further, because I was just so unhappy and honestly wouldn't trust my hair with them again. I'm just very disappointed that I got exactly what I didn't ask for, and I was very adamant about what I did and didn't want, and brought pictures and everything. I understand the chance to remedy the situation has passed, but after finally getting what I originally wanted today, I finally felt the need to speak up.

This was an OK experience, but not outstanding.  Facilities were not very clean...  the floor looked like it hadn't been mopped in a while and overall cleanliness was lacking.  Dori appeared to be inexperienced, and while the haircut was mediocre, it wasn't anything special.  The shampoo experience was sorely lacking and it was so quick that I wasn't even sure she rinsed out all the conditioner.  That is a valuable opportunity to make your customer feel pampered, even for just a haircut, and she passed up that opportunity.  Overall, meh experience.  I would never deter anyone from going there, but might suggest another stylist.
